MANCHESTER UNITED boss Erik ten Hag is favourite to be the first managerial casualty of the 2024-25 campaign.

The Dutchman, 54, was priced at 7/1 to be the first top-flight boss to leave his position, but has since been SLASHED to 5/2 overnight.

Many were surprised when co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe and the new Old Trafford hierarchy opted to stick with Ten Hag.
It appears that a lack of a credible and available alternative in addition to that FA Cup success helped the Dutchman to retain his role.
But patience is already wearing thin after audible boos from the crowd when Ten Hag replaced Alejandro Garnacho with Amad Diallo in the second half – watched by Ratcliffe, Sir Alex Ferguson and Co.
