PIERCE Brosnan has been ranked as the “most attarctive” James Bond actor to date, a new report revealed.
The Irish actor, best known for playing the iconic role from 1995 to 2002 has beat out Daniel Craig and Sean Connery as the best looking Bond.
New research from Betway has reported that the Meath star secured the top spot with an attractiveness rate of over 80 per cent.
Taking into consideration factors such as facial composition, social media popularity and Google search trends Betway has concluded Brosnan as the ultimate 007 out of eight Bonds.
Brosnan was the fifth actor to take on the famous character starring in Golden Eye, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World is Not Enough and Die Another Day.
With an impressive annual search volume of almost three million and an attractiveness rating of 8/10.
The award-winning actor’s social media presence is also equally strong, boasting a huge two million followers.
And while the films he’s starred in don’t have the highest ratings of all, they still score above average at 66 per cent.
Sean Connery claimed the second spot with a solid average positive sentiment score of 57 per cent and the second-highest attractiveness rating with 76 per cent.
Although Connery’s social media following pales compared to Brosnan’s, he still has a whopping 43,000 followers.
The Scottish actors films also ranked slightly higher than Brosnan’s with an average star rating of 7/10.
The Goldfinger actor played Bond between 1962 and 1983 and was the first actor to take on the legendary character for the big screen.
Coming in at third place, is the most recent 007, Daniel Craig.
Craig currently holds the record for the most Reddit mentions out of all eight actors with a massive 16,018 comments.
The British star also boasted the highest overall film star rating with 73 percent.
While his attractiveness rating sat comfortably 63 per cent and his positive sentiment score wavered at 56/100.
Barry Nelson was then given the third highest attractiveness rating with 74 per cent.
Meanwhile, George Lazenby and Timothy Dalton tie in third for average film star ratings, both scoring 67 per cent.
And fans of the beloved secret agent films are eager to find out who will front the next major film and carry on the Bond legacy.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson has been reported to have already met with producer Barbara Broccoli to discuss the Bond roll.
While Idris Elba and Taron Egerton have also been named in the running for the major role.
Peaky Blinders star Cillian Murphy’s name has also been floated as a possibility to play Bond – following in the footsteps of his fellow Irish born pal, Brosnan.
