‘People seriously wear these in public?’ shoppers cry as Primark launch controversial unitard that’ll cause ‘moose hoof’

FASHIONISTAS have been left wincing over Primark’s latest autumn offering.

Perfect for layering as the weather gets chillier this month, the fast fashion label has dropped a brand new ribbed unitard.

The £10 one-piece comes in an array of colours, including peach, black, baby glue and a vibrant green.

The retail giant’s social media team took to Instagram to promote the new buy – but shoppers aren’t sure how to feel about it.

In fact, some have warned that the snug design will give “major moose hoof”.

Unitards are commonly worn for dance, gymnastics or athletica because they allow for a wide range of movement while maintaining a sleek silhouette.

In fashion, they’ve become a seasonal piece that influencers reach for every autumn to layer sweatshirts and oversized shirts with.

Primark’s new offering is sleeveless and short.

It is officially designed as workout wear but, thanks to the rise of athleisure trends, can be worn as everyday style.

And despite how trendy the unitard may look, shoppers have warned the ribbed design may hug you in all the wrong places… including your nether region.

“It takes a very special body or else a very confident person to wear these,” Feana Walshe said.

“I will never have a special body or the confidence.”

“That will give me major moose hoof,” Emma Hearts feared.

Tina Dawson added that the design is “fine until you need a wee”, while another laughed: “My flaps could never.”

“Too much vagina on show and don’t get me on the butt cheeks,” Amanda Atherton slammed.

“Bring back modesty.”

The best selling Primark nostalgia pieces

IF it’s nostalgia you’re looking for, look no further than Primark.

Primark’s Miffy pyjama range left many shoppers feeling incredibly nostalgic recently.

Fashion fans claimed their ‘inner child was screaming’ when they spotted High School Musical and Hannah Montana sets on shelves.

90s fashionistas were left beaming when they spotted that leopard print maxi skirts had come back on trend.

But the new baby tees gave some shoppers ‘awful flashbacks’ to their teens.

And millennials were left divided when they spotted that ballet flats were back on shelves.

“Are people seriously wearing these out in public?” Another shopper questioned.

It wasn’t all negativity, though.

Some shoppers were itching to get their hands on the design, penning: “It looks so comfy.”

“Oh my god, I love it,” Noona Chonlata quipped.

A third beamed that they had “bought so many in London”.
