Tragically, Devin Woods, a Marion, Iowa, native and alumnus of Linn-Mar High School, passed away.
In light of the tragedy, Woods “unexpectedly died,” according to a GoFundMe established to assist his family.
Out of the $10,000 declared goal on the GoFundMe, $7,324 has been raised thus far.
Woods attended the Linn-Marr Community School District and played varsity football. He was a defensive end and defensive tackle in football, at 6’0″ and 205 pounds, after graduating in 2024.
As word spread of his passing, many sent heartfelt condolences and well wishes to his family through the post announcing his passing.
