After a three-year fight with cancer, Jessica Sloan, a former Texas A&M University swimmer and aspiring pilot, passed away at the age of 28.

Sloan’s mother posted on social media to disclose her daughter’s passing.

She was hurried back to the hospital on September 17. She died on September 23, one week later.
