Jeannie Mai is teaching her daughter Monaco such a sweet lesson, and is doing so in style.
On Sept 17, Mai shared a series of photos from her latest outing: celebrating the Emmys in style. And amid these photos included one of her darling daughter Monaco. Mai shared the photos to her Instagram with the caption reading, “1 dress.. 3 ways to say PRIDE ☑️ Toasting to a historic #Emmys for Asian Americans with @threads & @claudine, hosting an eve with Congressman @andykimnj to become the first Korean American Senator and the first AAPI Senator from the entire East Coast with my legend @lisalingstagram, and teaching my lil @monacomaijenkins that Mommies can do it all. And look.. not a damn wine stain in sight 😌🤍.”
She added, “All wearing this gorge dress by Viet designer @sixdovn. Jeannie rất đẹp qua 😉.”
Throughout the photos, we see Mai modeling and partying in a white floral-style mini-dress from the brand SIXDO, which is from Vietnamese designer Do Manh Cuong.
But in the first photo, we see the adorable mother-daughter duo running through the hotel, smiling from ear to ear together as they hold hands. While Mai is in her stunning white mini-dress, Monaco looks adorable in a lacey blue shirt and jean shorts.
Not only do we get an adorable photo of the two, but we get a reminder that Mai is teaching her daughter that moms really can do it all. (We love to see it!)
For those who don’t know, back in Jan. 2022, Mai and her ex-husband Jeezy welcomed their daughter Monaco Mai-Jenkins into the world.
During a Nov 2022 interview with PEOPLE, Mai said, “I used to be, well, I still am a boss, I can get it done by myself, but I ain’t that bossy by myself as a mom, I need help.”
She added, “I need my mom giving me advice, I need all the other moms around this area to tell me what you do with a 10-month-old. Every other week there’s some new thing that comes up with her that I got to ask and check about and I call, I listen to my friends and my pediatrician before I listen to the internet or Google. So, I’ve learned that you really need that village.”
