SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) – This week’s high school standout hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down after he burst onto the scene during a huge sophomore season.
Running back Jaylen McGill rushed for 1,792 yards as a Broome Centurion in his sophomore season, adding to his 2,092 all-purpose yards and 30 total touchdowns.
Now in his junior season with a brand new program at Mountain View Prep, McGill has 12 touchdowns and around 900 yards through just four games with no signs of slowing.
McGill already has 20 offers from top Power 4 programs like Clemson, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and Texas among many more. He entered the 2024 season as Prep Redzone’s the top ranked player in the class of 2026 after finishing last season with the second most rushing yards and touchdowns in the class.
