GAVIN and Stacey’s James Corden has issued a major update on the final ever episode – sending fans wild.
James, who writes and stars in the hit BBC show as Smithy, took to his Instagram page this morning to share a snap from set.

The BBC comedy is returning for one final Christmas special, and filming has got underway.
James posted a snap of his alter ego‘s business vehicle which has an advertisement in the window which reads: “Smithy’s – If your husband won’t do it – I will”.
James tagged the picture: “Day 1. Here we go. x”.
Gavin and Stacey fans went wild, with one replying: “I am SO EXCITED! If he doesn’t marry nessa im going to kick off!”
Another added: “THE QUESTION WE’VE BEEN WAITING YEARS FOR WILL BE ANSWERED” with a loved up emoji.
A third commented: “Screw the fishing trip, screw the wedding, let’s just have the best Christmas special for the ages!! Forget Oasis, THIS IS HISTORY.”
