Pointless fans will get another fix of the hit format when it brings its 33rd series to air next year.
The show – which is presented by Alexander Armstrong and Richard Osman – has amassed over 2,000 episodes to date.
It sees contestants find correct answers in general knowledge rounds by listing obscure ones first.
The winning duo then go on to compete for Pointless’ cash jackpot prize.
The Sun can reveal its celebrity version has also been renewed, paving the way for its 18th series.
Richard Osman announced last year he was stepping back from the show to focus on his writing career, but he continues to front the celeb specials.
Since his departure household names including Hugh Dennis, Gabby Logan and Anita Rani have all hosted alongside Alexander, 54.
Pointless was launched in 2009 back on BBC Two and was given a promotion to the main channel in 2011 due to its sheer popularity.
An audience mole previously revealed how Beeb bosses film Pointless – and what they say to hopefuls before filming starts.
The filming day sees a whopping four episodes filmed and contestants have to bring a second set of clothes to make it seem like they’ve shot the recording on a different day.
