WITH less than 100 days to Christmas, Morrisons has unveiled its Christmas menu in the lead up to the festive season.
From standout centrepieces to help any hosting duties, the perfect party food for any office bash, or family favourites for the big day, the supermarket has it covered.
This year, the festive range will feature everything from the classic turkey, mouthwatering salmon, delicious puddings, and whole range of starters and sides.
A spokesperson for the firm said: “Over the past year, Morrisons team of talented chefs and product developers have been working hard to bring customers the best Christmas range to date.
“From sharing starters and showstopping centrepieces, to unique party food and indulgent desserts.
“Many items will be hand-prepared in stores by Morrisons butchers and bakers on Market Street who are also on hand to answer any questions ahead of the festive season.”
Here’s what’s on offer this festive period for 2024:
A decadent and elegant dish to kick off the celebrations, made from Scottish Salmon and smoked in our own kilns for 14 hours.
Cured with sea salt, Demerara sugar, Canadian maple syrup and a blend of spices, the smoked salmon is a must for the Christmas table.
It serves two and will set shoppers back £4.50 when it hits stores from December 11.
Available fresh from Market Street butchers, this standout, melt-in-mouth choice is dry aged on the bone for a whopping 30 days for extra flavour.
The mouthwatering tender beef will set shoppers back £25kg with an average weight of 1.8kg and will be available from December 19.
A British classic, our Best British free range bronze turkey crown is stuffed with pork, sage & caramelised red onion, and topped with British smoked bacon, bay leaf and sprig of rosemary.
The succulent free-to-roam whole turkey with giblets are reared slowly for rich flavour and tenderness will serve 7-10 people.
The turkey will set shoppers back £8.50/kg at an average weight of 3.5kg to 5.49kg and will be available from December 19.
Crafted in a spiral shape, just pour our delicious chocolate sauce to cascade down the dessert for an irresistible combination of sweetness and warmth.
The mouth-watering indulgent and decadent sticky toffee pudding baked to perfection will set shoppers back £8 and serves 6 people.

Add some spice to your Christmas feast with The Best Cheese & Jalapeno Pigs in Blankets!
Featuring hot peppers and lashings of melted cheddar, these pigs are not one to pass up.
The spicy pigs in blankets will cost shoppers £3.25 or 2 for £5 and serves 5. You can pick them up from November 27.
Cheese lovers rejoice!
The ultimate blend of cheddar, mozzarella, and soft cheese, with an even more cheesy sauce centre, all combined with onion and white wine and coated in black pepper breadcrumbs.
The cheese bites will set you back £6 or 3 for 2 and will be available from December 16.
There’s also an extended vegan range which includes new Plant Revolution Butternut Squash, Chestnut and Cranberry Wreath (£5), Plant Revolution Mushroom, Spinach & Pine Nut Mini Wellingtons (£5), and The Best Free from Double Chocolate Pudding (£6.50), and a whole host of other free-from dishes so no one has to miss out.

Tesco revealed its Christmas range last week, and it includes everything from pigs in blankets to decadent puddings.
The Christmas turkey is a staple of most households’ Christmas dinner spread, and Tesco has decided to jazz its version up this year.
Its easy-to-carve bird is filled to the brim with pork, cranberry and chestnut stuffing, with a blend of authentic herbs and spices to boot.
As if that’s not enough, it’s also wrapped in dry cured smoked ham.
This extravagant turkey will be available through Tesco’s Made to Order service, which usually opens at the beginning of November.
This service allows you to book and pay for your Christmas dinner and other treats ahead of time with collection closer to the big day.
It will be priced at £40, but shoppers with a Tesco Clubcard will be able to nab it for £35.
Meanwhile, M&S has also put out their huge Christmas range ahead of the festive season.
The massive range of Christmas goodies includes 450 new items, including hot honey brie.
Festive dip, hot honey savoury snacks and even a Christmas inspired lasagne are among the fresh arrivals set to get M&S shoppers’ mouths watering.
The price and date it’s available have not yet been confirmed, like many of the items on show today we’ll have to wait to find out how much they will hit our wallet.
Asda has also released their festive menu, which includes a melt in the middle pork pie and toffee apple mince pies.
Asda‘s Christmas range is set to make way into its 1,000 plus stores across the UK over the next two weeks, giving customers a chance to get a head start ahead of the big day.
Some of the prices have not been finalised.
In the days leading up to the event, there was one festive treat on my mind and that was mince pies.
Nothing screams Christmas like devouring an unhealthy amount of the buttery pastry, so I knew I needed to try out Asda’s latest range as a first point of call.
Iceland has revealed its Christmas 2024 range and it includes a pigs in blankets Yorkshire pudding.
Shoppers will be able to feast on mini fish, chip and ketchup sarnies, prawn tacos and an unbelievable XXL pigs in blankets Yorkshire pudding.
The supermarket is also launching battered lobster tails, mini garlic and herb kievs and even some exclusive brands items like Harry Ramsden’s battered mini sausages.
Also returning are familiar favourites such as the turkey crown, mince pies, Christmas pudding and of course all the trimmings like roast potatoes and veg.
Those who want to feast on the exclusive brands range like Galaxy, TGI Fridays and Harry Ramsden’s can do so with the mix-and-match deals like three items for £10.

celand’s “Bonus Pounds” scheme isn’t technically a Christmas saver – but you could use it as one.
The supermarket will give you a £1 bonus for every £20 you top-up, which works out as a 5% return.
There’s no limit to the amount you can save and spend on the card throughout a year, but the most you can have loaded at any one time is £1,000 including bonuses.
If you managed to save £20 a week, you’d have £52 in free cash over the course of 12 months.
If you’re topping up whilst at the shop, just let the cashier know how much you want to add and they will load it to your card.
To do it online, sign in to your account on the Iceland Bonus Card app. Go to ‘My Card’ and select ‘Top Up’. You can then top up any amount with your preferred payment method.
You can sign up for a Digital Bonus Card online at iceland.co.uk/bonuscard, or pick up a physical card in an Iceland store and register it online or through the Bonus Card app.
Iceland does warn that it reserves the right to withdraw, decline, cancel or issue a new card at any time and without notice.
You can cancel your Bonus Card at any time, but any remaining balance will be lost, so you need to make sure you spend any savings first.
If you don’t use the card for 24 months, it will expire, and you will lose any money you have saved.
Iceland adds that it is not liable for any bonuses that are not spent before expiry, nor for any bonus amounts which have failed to load onto the card due to a technical or user error, nor for any bonus amounts which are not used due to lost or stolen cards.
Savings can only be used to purchase products in participating Iceland and The Food Warehouse stores or online at the Iceland website. They cannot be redeemed in a franchise store or at The Range.
WORK has begun on a “perverse” £3.5million revamp of the traveller site where PC Andrew Harper’s killers hid.
It comes despite the hero cop’s family pleading for the plan to be scrapped.
The officer, 28, who had just wed wife Lissie, died when he was dragged along the road by a car by three teenage quad bike thieves in 2019.
His killers, Henry Long, 19, and Albert Bowers and Jessie Cole, both 18, were arrested at the Four Houses Corner site in Ufton Nervet, Berkshire.
The trio — later convicted of manslaughter and jailed — had hid in the camp, where they destroyed evidence.
In 2020, the dilapidated plot was abandoned and the travellers rehoused.
But earlier this year, West Berkshire Council approved the revamp, featuring 17 double-berth caravan pitches with two parking spaces each, provisions for electric car chargers and a children’s play area.
PC Harper’s mum Debbie Adlam described the decision as “disrespectful” and accused the local authority of “stamping all over Andrew’s memory”.
She wrote and told them she goes there “as my only place to feel I am close to him” and “will worry over the likelihood of vandalising the tributes we place”.
Now aerial photographs show the beginnings of concrete bases for caravans, with diggers on site.
Tory councillor Ross Mackinnon said the taxpayer-funded scheme is “an insult to PC Harper’s memory”.
He called on the Lib Dem-run local authority to scrap the project and restore the site to nature, with a memorial to Andrew.
He told The Sun: “It just seems perverse to redevelop the camp. It’s against public decency to spend nearly £4million refurbishing it.”
Thames Valley Police objected to the plan, saying the site had long been used for “criminal activities”.
Council deputy leader Denise Gaines said: “We effectively had no choice.
This site has been allocated to travellers since at least the 1960s and is important for us to deliver much-needed traveller accommodation.
“We are, of course, acutely aware of the history.”
