A MANIAC posted a video of his speedometer reaching 100mph moments before he left a woman paralysed in a devastating crash.
Gavin Coull, 32, uploaded a Snapchat clip captioned “burning the midnight oil” seconds before he seconds before he ploughed into a car in front of him.

The 27-year-old woman was left paralysed from the neck down after the Ford Fiesta she was travelling in was struck from behind by Gavin Coull’s BMW on the southbound lane of the A90 near Ellon, Aberdeenshire.
Moments before the impact, drugged-up Coull, 32, of nearby Fraserburgh, uploaded a dashcamvideo online which showed his car’s speedometer reaching 100 miles per hour.
He was jailed for three years at Aberdeen Sheriff Court after a jury found him guilty of causing serious injury by dangerousdriving and of driving while unfit through drink or drugs.
Alison McKenzie, Procurator Fiscal for Aberdeen, said: “This young woman suffered catastrophic injuries as a direct consequence of Gavin Coull’s dangerous driving.
“In a split second, she was deprived of the normal and rich life she was entitled to expect.
“Yet she showed enormous bravery and courage in harrowing circumstances to give evidence to the court.
“Hopefully, she and her family will gain some comfort from the fact that justice has been served and that the accused will now spend time in prison as a result of his crimes.”
The court heard how Coull and a fellow passenger were travelling southbound on the dual carriageway late on the evening of March 11, 2021.
The collision caused the Fiesta to smash through crash barriers and tumble onto a grassy embankment off the A90.
The court was told that the driver of the Fiesta also suffered serious injuries.
Following the crash, a blood sample showed evidence of drugs in Coull’s system.
Sergeant Craig McNeill, of PoliceScotland, said: “Coull’s disregard for road safety has had a devastating impact on this young woman.
“His actions highlight the disastrous consequences of dangerous driving and the lasting impact it has on those involved, along with their families and friends.
“Drivers must obey speed limits and respect the safety of other road users. Drivers are responsible for their actions and the temptation to take risks can have severe and long-lasting consequences for everyone involved.”

SHOPPERS could face a shortage of teatime essentials like ready meals in supermarket due to a factory row over pay.
More than 700 workers are set to take “continuous strike action” at the Bakkavor manufacturing firm in Spalding, Lincolnshire this month.

The Bakkavor Group makes and prepares meals, soups, dips, salads, desserts, pizzas and breads for supermarkets such as Tesco, Marks and Spencer and Waitrose.
Unite the Union confirmed the strikes would “inevitably cause disruption and shortages to supermarkets across the UK”.
This means shoppers could soon notice some of their favourite ready-made dishes missing from supermarket shelves.
The strikes will take place from September 27.
It comes after staff declined a pay increase offer of 7.8% for the lowest-paid workers, and 6.4% across all other grades.
Worker said they felt that their “hard work” in “incredibly tough working conditions” was not being recognised.
Unite the Union told The BBC that workers spend “long shifts working in near-freezing temperatures, doing repetitive and demanding work”.
However, Sadie Woodhouse, general manager at Bakkavor, said the strike made “no sense” as its wages were “well above inflation and National Living Wage”.
This is lower than the so-called voluntary real living wage, which is calculated based on the cost of living and is currently £12 around the UK and £13.15 in London.
But, it’s important to note that not all supermarkets may be affected by the strike and some shoppers may notice no changes at all.
Andrew Opie, director of food and sustainability at the British Retail Consortium, told The Sun most retailers shouldn’t face issues.
“Retailers are not anticipating any problems with availability and customers will still be able to purchase the goods they want as normal,” he said.
It is understood that the strikes will not impact M&S as it has a contingency plan in place.
The Sun has also approached Tesco and Waitrose for comment and will update readers once we hear back.
Bakkavor has 20 other sites across the UK which are still in effect.
It has also stated that it already has contingency plans in place to minimise disruption.
Bakkavor bosses have not yet hinted towards an increased pay deal and are holding steadfast to their original offer as the strike date nears.
How to save on your supermarket shop
THERE are plenty of ways to save on your grocery shop.
You can look out for yellow or red stickers on products, which show when they’ve been reduced.
If the food is fresh, you’ll have to eat it quickly or freeze it for another time.

This means ditching “finest” or “luxury” products and instead going for “own” or value” type of lines.
Plenty of supermarkets run wonky veg and fruit schemes where you can get cheap prices if they’re misshapen or imperfect.
For example, Lidl runs its Waste Not scheme, offering boxes of 5kg of fruit and vegetables for just £1.50.
If you’re on a low income and a parent, you may be able to get up to £442 a year in Healthy Start vouchers to use at the supermarket too.
Plus, many councils offer supermarket vouchers as part of the Household Support Fund.

ACTOR Charlie Cooper showed Newcastle-supporting pal Asim Chaudhry around his beloved Craven Cottage ahead of Fulham’s meeting with the Toon this weekend.
This Country star Cooper, 35, gave Chabuddy G actor Chaudhry a behind-the-scenes tour which even included a glimpse at the Cottagers’ trophy cabinet.

While Fulham have earned plenty of promotions down the years, major silverware has largely eluded them.
They finished as FA Cup runners-up in 1975, while they agonisingly lost the 2010 Europa League final to Atletico Madrid following an incredible run under Roy Hodgson.
Taking pride of place in their cabinet is the Intertoto Cup, which they earned under Jean Tigana 22 years ago.
While Cooper and Chaudhry both got to hold and kiss the actual Intertoto Cup trophy, the latter’s eyes had been drawn by two more unusual cups.
Looking confused, he asked: “What’s that?”
It was pointed out by their guide that Chaudhry was looking at The Algarve Trophy, to which Cooper cheekily responded: “Of course! How could I forget? I shed a tear when we won that.”
Fulham earned the pre-season trophy last month, beating Benfica 1-0 courtesy of an Alex Iwobi goal.
It wasn’t their first triumph in the Algarve Cup, having also beaten Nice to win it in 2022.

Ironically, Chaudhry’s beloved Newcastle have also won the pre-season competition, having beaten Braga 2-1 to take it in 2012.
Chaudhry then put on an American accent as he pointed out the Dr Pepper Dallas Cup.
Cooper joked: “You know you haven’t won many trophies when you have to get the Dallas Cup to fill it out.”
His pal quipped that the “massive” trophy probably had Fulham chiefs fuming at “travel charges” on the way home due to its heft.
The Dallas Cup is actually a prestigious youth team tournament featuring teams from all over the world.
Fulham were one of four European teams to enter in 2013, alongside Manchester United, Eintracht Frankfurt and Danish side AaB Fodbold.
In group play the West Londoners defeated Brazilians Coritiba and Americans LA Galaxy, before thrashing Frankfurt 5-0.
They then beat Brazilians Fluminense 2-1 in the semis before overcoming Japanese outfit Kashiwa Reysol 5-1 in the final.
Fulham’s Dallas Cup-winning Under-19 side featured several players who would go on to play for their first team – including Cauley Woodrow, Marek Rodak and Emerson Hyndman.
