The defender suffered a broken leg and was taken to hospital with the match abandoned.

Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder confirmed Wolves have launched a probe into the incident, which could rule the 19-year-old out for the season.

Blades star Sai Sachdev is highly regarded and has featured for the Three Lions Under-19 side.

Wilder said of the incident: “They’re [Wolves] doing an internal investigation into what went on, which is exactly what we would have done ourselves.

“I want to thank Matt [Hobbs, Wolves sporting director] for calling and full credit to him for doing that because I think it says a lot about him and Wolves as well.

“They’ve gone about things exactly as we would have done, because we are proper people too.

“I’ve passed on his thoughts to Sai. That was important. It’s good to know they are treating the situation seriously and it’s important we thank them for doing that.”

Sachdev has featured twice for the Blades this season and Wilder revealed his injury has dampened the mood around camp.

He continued: “The mood around the place has been pretty sombre. We are a family club and Sai is their brother.”

Wolves shared their well wishes, saying: “Sending our thoughts to Sai Sachdev. We wish him a full and speedy recovery.”

Pointless fans will get another fix of the hit format when it brings its 33rd series to air next year.

The show – which is presented by Alexander Armstrong and Richard Osman – has amassed over 2,000 episodes to date.

It sees contestants find correct answers in general knowledge rounds by listing obscure ones first.

The winning duo then go on to compete for Pointless’ cash jackpot prize.

The Sun can reveal its celebrity version has also been renewed, paving the way for its 18th series.

Richard Osman announced last year he was stepping back from the show to focus on his writing career, but he continues to front the celeb specials.

Since his departure household names including Hugh Dennis, Gabby Logan and Anita Rani have all hosted alongside Alexander, 54.

Pointless was launched in 2009 back on BBC Two and was given a promotion to the main channel in 2011 due to its sheer popularity.

An audience mole previously revealed how Beeb bosses film Pointless – and what they say to hopefuls before filming starts.

The filming day sees a whopping four episodes filmed and contestants have to bring a second set of clothes to make it seem like they’ve shot the recording on a different day.

But it is in France that Mullins does most of his buying of new horses these days – and for good reason.

Vauban, Chacun Pour Soi and Vautour are just some of the top names to have travelled over in recent years.

And Mullins has added to his already massive squad with a whole load of new runners for 2024-25.

Sun Racing told you how French racing expert Adam Mills had previously identified smart hurdler Willy De Houelle as ‘the daddy of them all’.

Bookies have made the three-year-old colt – who will run in the instantly recognisable pink and green silks of Rich Ricci – 8-1 favourite for the Triumph Hurdle.

But he is one of many on his way to or currently residing at Mullins’ famed County Carlow yard.

Mills broke down Mullins’ purchases – which smashed the £1m mark – and said there was ‘quality in every one’.

The most expensive of the lot coming in at around £265,000 was Charlus, whose dam-sire was none other than Sir Alex Ferguson’s brilliant horse Rock Of Gibraltar.

Charlus, a three-year-old gelding, has been beaten just once in four career starts, finishing runner-up when last seen in a 1m1f Listed contest at Bordeaux.

Billionaire racing mogul JP McManus has been busy too, with at least five French horses he has bought making their way to Mullins.

Among them is Karoline Banbou, a four-year-old filly who finished in a Grade 2 bumper on her only run to date.

McManus also looks to have splashed some cash on Kel Histoire, Venusienne, Kom Tu Voudras and Kawaboomga as well.

But it is multi-millionaire bookie turned art collector Joe Donnelly who looks to have one of the more hyped purchases.

A lot is expected of Fou De Toi, who was third on debut at Auteuil behind subsequent Listed winner Sauvignon.

It’s no surprise that a load of these names feature strongly in the Triumph Hurdle market, given the previous five winners all started out racing in France.

And even those that don’t win at Cheltenham go onto greatness.

Former Honeysuckle owner Kenny Alexander poached Kargese from France and she finished runner-up to last year’s Triumph Hurdle winner Majborough.

Majborough was bought from France by JP McManus and trained by, you guessed it, Mullins.

Kargese finished second in the Grade 1 Aintree Juvenile Hurdle behind Sir Gino – who himself came with a huge reputation from France having won a Listed race.

She then went onto win her own Grade 1 at Punchestown a few weeks later.

Pedro Jimeno Will Never Escape the Villain Tag For Mistreating Chantel Everett by Not Appreciating Her Desperate Attempts at Intimacy

Reality TV shows might just be for entertainment, but they carry more than meets the eye. While some of them are good for escapism and drama for viewers, they also shed light on the human psyche and the often cruel nature of ‘humanity’. And Pedro Jimeno from The Family Chantel certainly did more than enough […]
