IT’S not every day that global superstars are seen slumming it on the London Underground.

But Jonas Brother’s fans who were headed to boyband’s concert at the O2 arena in North Greenwich got the shock of their lives yesterday.

Brothers Nick and Kevin were spotted at Green Park station, as they opted to travel to the venue by tube.

Soon the phones were up recording the incident and it wasn’t long before the footage found its way onto social media site, TikTok.

One fan who was travelling to the concert, Sarah Leilaxo, managed to grab some a coveted selfie with each of the brothers.

She told The Sun: “

“My childhood dream was to randomly bump into them and that is exactly what happened.
“Only this time I was in the way to their concert. I stepped off the tube at North Greenwich and walking towards the escalator as I was waiting I glanced next to me and had to do a double take, it was Joe Jonas.

I don’t think a lot of people recognised him at that point and I actually was debating whether it was actually him or a fan who styled themselves like him.

He got the escalator in front of me to the ticket hall as I was planning to get through the barrier and ask for a photo, as I went through he was in the one next to me and his card wasn’t allowing him to pass through the barrier.

I headed towards the exit so I could catch him leaving and asked for a photo and as I was leaving I turned around and Nick Jonas was walking right behind me.

I was in complete shock, I asked for a photo and he was so sweet about it he said sure and after told me to have a great show.
Right after I realised Kevin was behind him so I ask Kevin for a photo he agreed too. Kevin was so lovely.”

No doubt the brothers have taken some tips from rapper Jay Z and Chris Martin of  Coldplay, who travelled by tube to their gig back in 2013.

Formed in 2005 the brothers, Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas first gained popularity through the Disney channel, starring in films including Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2. 

They released six albums and were nominated for best new artists at the 2008 Grammys. After breaking up in 2013, they reformed in 2019, with their sixth album, Happiness Begins which topped the US billboard 200.

Recently the divorce was finalised between Joe Jonas, 35,  and  Games of Thrones actress Sophie Turner, 28, with whom he has two daughters, after just five years of marriage.

Meanwhile having dated Miley Cyrus in the early noughties, Nick, 32,  is now married to Indian actress and producer, Priyankra Chopra with whom he has a daughter.

The band now travel to Europe where they have several concerts in European cities, including Cologne, Milan, Amsterdam, Copenhagen and Krakow.

MANCHESTER UNITED have enlisted help from a global architecture group to develop a ‘masterplan’ for the Old Trafford area.

The Red Devils are looking to build a new stadium that will act as a ‘Wembley of the North’.

New co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe has ambitious plans for the build, including a 100,000-fan capacity.

He also wants to regenerate the club-owned land surrounding the stadium by incorporating mixed-use developments that will benefit the local community.

With Man Utd intent on building a “world-class football destination and home” for supporters, club officials have appointed world-renowned group Foster + Partners.

The company has been involved with a number of huge projects, including the development of Wembley Stadium in London.

It also helped to build the Lusail Stadium, which hosted the final of the 2022 Qatar World Cup.

But Foster + Partners do not just operate in sport…

South Sabah Al-Ahmad

Lord Foster, the group’s founder and executive chairman, is currently helping to develop South Sabah Al-Ahmad – a brand-new city located 80km south of Kuwait City in the Middle East.

It will be a home to around 280,000 people and create 145,000 jobs in a diverse range of industries.

The new futuristic desert city, which spans 22,000,000 square metres, is expected to be completed by 2040.

It is also anticipated to cost £7.6BILLION ($10bn).

Dog kennels

Foster + Partners is also in the dog kennel market having created two innovative designs.

One of the products, the Dome-Home, features a geodesic shell structure with a removable fabric liner.

It received a gold at the International Design Awards.

The company also developed the Barc kennel, which is made up of a few components that can be easily put together and taken apart.

One Beverly Hills

Among several other projects, the group is also helping to transform 17.5 acres of land in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles.

The masterplan will introduce 10 acres of open space and breathtaking gardens, which will be a sustainable oasis of wellness, encouraging exploration and relaxation.

The landscape architect, RIOS, has curated over 200 species of California native plants and trees including palms, oaks, sycamores and succulents to be integrated

Some parts will be open exclusively for residents, club members and hotel guests with the remaining areas accessible to the public.

It is set to be completed in three years.

Huaxing New Town

Huaxing New Town is located at the centre of the Suzhou Creek CBD in Shanghai.

Foster + Partners was tasked with developing the 253,000 m² area back in 2018.

The new development consists of two office towers and a connecting retail podium. 

The tallest tower – around 320 metres high – is set to offer spectacular views of Huangpu River Bay, West Bund and Suzhou Creek.

The One

The 80-storey structure in Toronto will become Canada’s tallest building and its second tallest man-made structure after the CN Tower.

The first 18 storeys will include restaurants, event spaces, two major retailers and a luxury hotel.

Toronto’s Apple store is also expected to move into the building.

It is set to be completed next year.

Battersea Roof Gardens

Developed as part of the Battersea Power Station masterplan, the garden has 23,000 plants and 55 trees.

The mixed-use building features 436 apartments and a hotel.

It sits alongside 50 Electric Boulevard, a wellbeing-centred office building with 200,000 square feet of new workspace.

POLICE searching for a missing Channel 4 star have tragically found a body.

Katherine Watson, 50, was last seen in the Heaton Road area of Newcastle at around 1pm on Thursday September 19.

The much-loved chaplain, known as Katie by many, featured in the popular TV series Geordie Hospital.

Police have now confirmed a body has been found in the Jesmond Dene area.

Formal identification has yet to take place, however the body is believed to belong to Katherine.

Monument Valley 3 will be out this year[/caption]

This week was Netflix Geeked Week, and it was brought to a close with a huge number of upcoming video game announcements.

Among the reveals were two spin-offs for some of Netflix’s most popular shows, and three games from well-known series.

The biggest surprise of the reveals was that a new game is being released based on Rebel Moon.

Blood Line: A Rebel Moon Game is made by Super Evil Megacorp, best known for TMNT Splintered Fate and Vainglory.

It’s an online multiplayer game where you and a team work together to reclaim their planet from the Motherworld.

Blood Line: A Rebel Moon game is a Netflix exclusive that will launch sometime in 2025.

The Squid Game video game was previously announced and will launch later this year alongside Squid Game Season 2 in December.

However, the drama and intrigue that made the show so exciting is surprisingly absent and instead, it’s more like a Fall Guys battle royale.

Another big surprise is that award-winning puzzle game series Monument Valley will be receiving a third entry.

Monument Valley 3 will be a peaceful puzzle game, with mind-bending puzzles set in a gorgeous world.

The first game in the series is already out on Netflix, and the second game will arrive on October 29, 2024.

This will allow you enough time to try them both out before the third game drops on December 10.

Street Fighter 4: Champion Edition was also announced to join the Netflix library of games, though no release window was given.

Finally, a mobile version of strategy behemoth Civilization 6 was announced, but there wasn’t a release date for this one either.

Netflix added a number of major games to the platform this year including Sonic Mania, Hades and GTA 3.

If you want to play these or any of the games from Netflix’s library, and you have a subscription, all you need to do is download the Netflix app on your phone.
