The show has aired for five seasons to date – with previous participants including Rhod Gilbert and Angela Barnes[/caption]

Its format sees two celebrities filmed as they tackle journeys down roads considered notably hazardous.

In the new episodes, one pairing will be comedians and friends, Johnny Vegas and Lucy Beaumont.

The journey taken by the Taskmaster alums sees them driving through Montenegro.

Johnny shared: “I can’t believe I’ve such fond memories of being so b****y terrified at times.

“I can only put it down to Lucy Beaumont‘s inexhaustible quirky humour under pressure and Montenegro’s stunning variation of landscapes.

“Both tears of fear and laughter made it an unforgettable adventure of a lifetime.”

Meanwhile, Lucy added: “I still can’t believe I made in one piece; I must admit I didn’t want to be on a dangerous road with Johnny driving, but I didn’t want to leave either.

“What started out as a white-knuckle ride turned out to be a spiritual experience which cemented that me and Johnny will be lifelong friends.”

Another confirmed duo is I’m a Celeb alum Babatunde Aléshé and fellow comedian Kae Kurd – who travelled to Zambia.

Reflecting on his experience, Babatunde shared: “I absolutely loved taking part in World’s Most Dangerous Roads.

“As someone of African heritage, this journey meant so much to me, especially to experience it with my good friend Kae.”

As Kae remarked: “One of the best experiences of my life. Challenging, fun and eye opening, and with a great companion too.”

In addition, Rhod Gilbert – who has appeared in previous episodes – will be narrating a compilation of memorable show moments so far.

This is titled World’s Most Dangerous Roads: Rhod Gilbert’s Extra Mile.

Initially beginning in 2011, World’s Most Dangerous Roads aired for three series on BBC Two, up to 2013.

Comedians including Hugh Dennis, Sue Perkins, Ed Byrne and David Baddiel all took on dangerous journeys in the original run.

Dave later revived the format and aired the show from series four onwards.

World’s Most Dangerous Roads returns to U&Dave in November.

I’m 40 but look even better than I did in my 20s – it’s all thanks to a trick that’s not even found in the beauty aisle

A MUM-of-one has showcased how she looks better aged 40 than she did in her Twenties.

Adriana Krzesniak is a lifestyle content creator who strongly believes that skincare starts on the inside.

She believes maintaining a youthful glow is all about lifestyle[/caption]

Rather than promoting various lotions and potions, she instead shares diet and lifestyle tricks that can improve skin from the inside-out.

And there’s two foods she swears by to stop ageing in its tracks.

In a recent TikTok post, Adriana shared how her life “really started after 40”.

She even said that she believes she looks better now than she did aged 20, thanks to her improved lifestyle.

“Better make-up, better clothes, better money, more confidence, calmer lifestyle,” she wrote.

Adriana is also a big consumer of wild-caught salmon and turmeric – and says these are her key anti-ageing foods.

Neuroscientist Robert Love, who specialises in helping people fight Alzheimer’s disease, recently claimed that both salmon and turmeric are the ultimate anti-ageing foods for your skin AND brain.

Taking to TikTok in March this year, Adriana revealed that she strongly agrees.

As a regular consumer of both, she believes they are the secret to her youthful glow.

Wild-caught salmon is beneficial for both skin and brain health as it is rich in nutrients, especially omega-3 fatty acids.

The fatty acids present in salmon help maintain the skin’s moisture barrier, as well as reduce dryness and inflammation.

Furthermore, the omega-3s and proteins in salmon are believed to promote collagen production, which is essential for maintaining firm and youthful skin.

It’s also a good source of vitamin D, which supports skin cell growth and repair.

On the other hand, turmeric is beneficial for skin health thanks to its active compound curcumin.

Curcumin has powerful anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antimicrobial and wound-healing properties.

And as it’s a strong antioxidant, it neutralises any external nasties that manage to seep into your skin and damage it, such as pollution.

These antioxidant properties can also slow down the ageing process by protecting skin cells from damage that leads to wrinkles and loss of skin elasticity.

What is Collagen?

  • Collagen is the most abundant protein in the human body and provides strength and structure to the skin and muscles
  • It plays a significant role in maintaining skin elasticity and hydration
  • As we age, collagen production decreases, leading to wrinkles, sagging skin and decreased skin firmness
  • Collagen production starts to dwindle in our mid-to-late 20s and early 30s. By 40, it has dropped dramatically

It’s important to note that while collagen-based skincare products may offer benefits, their effectiveness can hugely vary.

Some experts suggest that topical application of collagen may have limited effectiveness compared to other skincare ingredients that stimulate collagen production within the skin.

‘Make alternate plans’ say Dublin Airport bosses in September car-park alert for thousands of passengers

DUBLIN Airport has issued an urgent “make alternate plans” warning to passengers flying out this weekend.

They advised those travelling from Friday to Sunday that all car parking spots are sold out, and urged people to make their way to the airport by bus or taxi.

Dublin Airport took to X, formerly Twitter, to share the update.

They said: “All of our car parks at Dublin Airport are sold out for this weekend.

“If you don’t have a space booked already, please plan to travel to the airport by bus or taxi or get dropped off.”

There are a number of ways passengers can head to the airport instead of driving.

Public transport regularly goes from different spots around the country to both Terminal One and Two.

Aircoach operates five different routes – from the airport to Cork, Belfast, Greystones, Ballsbridge, and Leopardstown in Dublin.

Many of the routes go through the city centre and stop at regular intervals.

And Dublin Express operates three different services from the city’s suburbs to the airport.

Meanwhile, Dublin Airport has a little-known rule that could land you a €140 fine.

Ireland’s busiest airport has a major rule against vehicles left unattended outside the terminals.

This often happens when passengers don’t want to pay for a parking space at the airport and leave their vehicles unattended instead – but it can end up costing them a lot more.

Dublin Airport has the rule in place for safety and security reasons, as they want to prevent any threats that may arise from vehicles left unattended.

Vehicles left unattended will either be clamped or towed by airport police.

Passengers will also be fined €140 to recover the vehicle, and there is a further charge of €35 for every day it’s not collected.

They added on X earlier this week: “Don’t become number 276… A total of 275 fixed penalty notices have been issued to drivers parking illegally in the drop-off areas outside our terminals over the past 2 months.

“Reminder: these areas are for dropping off passengers only and are patrolled by Airport Police.”

Dublin Airport also warn passengers about the rule on their website.

They said: “For security and passenger safety reasons, vehicles should not be left unattended at any time.

“Any vehicle left unattended outside a terminal will either be clamped or towed by the airport police.

“There is a charge of €140 for recovery of the vehicle, and if the vehicle is not collected on the day it is removed there is a further €35 charge for each days storage.”
