How your child’s vaping could be a sign of an underlying mental health problem

DOES your child vape?

Chances are unless you’ve caught them in the act, it may be kept from you.

Kids are more at risk of vaping if they have mental health worries, a study suggests[/caption]

But a new study has shed light on what may lead youngsters to try e-cigs in the first place.

Scientists looked at data from over 5,000 kids in Year 7 and 8 (12 to 14-year-olds) from 40 schools in New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia in 2023.

Some 8.3 per cent of adolescents reported having used e-cigarettes before, according to the findings in the Australian & New Zealand Journal of Psychiatry.

Vaping was 74 per cent higher for students who reported moderate stress, and 64 per cent higher for people who reported high levels of stress.

It was also twice as common for students who reported low well being compared to high well being.

Depressed kids were also more likely to vape.

Youngsters who reported severe symptoms were over twice as likely to have tried vapes, compared to those with no history of depression, the findings show.

Anxiety symptoms showed no correlation.

Researchers from OurFutures Vaping Trial say mental ill-health and vaping are both increasing among young people.

Co-lead on the project Dr Lauren Gardner, from the University of Sydney’s Matilda Centre, said: “More research is needed to understand the complex relationship between mental health and vaping, however these findings highlight the urgent need for prevention and early intervention approaches, backed by evidence, to support both the short- and long-term health and wellbeing of young people.”

The Matilda Centre previously found the average age a teenager in Australia begins to vape is 14.

Co-author associate professor, Dr Emily Stockings said: “In the short term, nicotine may reduce feelings of anxiety and stress, and young people may be reaching for vapes as a coping mechanism.

“Regardless of whether mental ill-health influences smoking or vice-versa, it is clear that if we are to prevent vaping onset, we need to address mental health at the same time.”

In the UK, almost one in five 11 to 17-year-olds had tried vaping in 2024.

The figure is stable since 2023 but has risen from 13.9 per cent in 2020.

The most common reason for vaping was ‘Just to give it a try’ (35 per cent), while 7.3 per cent said ‘I think it helps me with stress or my mental health’, according to The ASH Smokefree GB Youth Survey.

When it comes to adults, one in 10 are now long-term vapers – more than six months – according to research by University College London.

Health experts say vaping is safer than smoking and an important way for addicts to quit, but may be risky for never-smokers.

Smoking vs. vaping

VAPING has been touted as an effective tool to help people quit smoking.

Though vaping is substantially less harmful than smoking, the habit isn’t completely harmless and comes with its own set of risks.

The NHS only recommends it for adult smokers, to support quitting smoking.

GP and author Dr Philippa Kaye explained to The Sun that the differences between vaping and smoking – and whether one is better than the other – is “complicated”.

“In a nutshell, vaping is better than smoking, but breathing air is better than vaping at all.”

Vaping exposes users to far fewer toxins – and at lower levels – than smoking cigarettes.

Switching to vaping significantly reduces your exposure to toxins that can cause cancer, lung disease, and diseases of the heart and circulation like heart attack and stroke.

These diseases are not caused by nicotine, which is relatively harmless to health. But research has still linked vaping to a higher risk of failure and lung disease.

Health risks of cigarettes

  • Smokers are more likely than nonsmokers to develop heart disease, stroke, and lung cancer
  • Smokers are at greater risk for diseases that affect the heart and blood vessels
  • Smoking can cause lung disease by damaging your airways and the small air sacs
  • Smoking can cause cancer almost anywhere in your body
  • It affects overall health too, such as your mouth, eyes, immune system and fertility

Health risks of vaping

  • They can cause side effects such as throat and mouth irritation, headache, cough and feeling sick
  • They could lead to tooth decay
  • They could damage heart health
  • They could cause lung disease
  • They could slow brain development

Expert warns about hair loss culprit in your shower – 4 steps to prevent damage, try a cost-effective swap

FINDING excess strands after a shower can be worrying, but one expert shared a solution that won’t break the bank.

Although most hair loss after washing is from loose strands that were ready to shed anyway, another culprit could be fixed with a simple swap.

Louise Bailey is a hair extensions expert at Beauty Club London.

She revealed four steps to keeping locks in place by preventing damage, starting with hair-washing.

Hard water from the shower can cause hair loss due to the mineral content.

The build-up eventually leads to clogged follicles on the scalp, resulting in excess shedding.

BY A HAIR

Bailey recommended a swap for healthier hair after washing.

“Ensure you wash your hair with clarifying shampoos to remove mineral and other hair product buildup,” she said.

“If you are unable to access this, choose sulfate-free shampoo to reduce the damage.”

She expert also weighed in on the most effective way to wash hair while keeping the integrity of the strands.

“Gently rinse your hair, then apply a protective oil designed for your hair type to your hair and scalp and leave for 30 minutes before washing,” she advised as a first step.

“The oil will prevent minerals from sticking, and provide moisturizing and softening benefits.”

She shared a specific way to rinse the hair to guarantee proper cleansing.

“After 30 minutes, gently rinse the oil and massage the clarifying shampoo thoroughly into the scalp and hair, to ensure that any leftover residue is lifted,” she said.

For the third step, she recommended using her method for conditioning the hair.

“Rinse and apply your conditioner, avoiding the scalp and the upper half of the hair strands.”

What is hard water?

Hard water refers to a high content of minerals like calcium and magnesium in the water.

It typically leaves a residue behind, which can feel like a film on the skin.

Source: USGS

Finally, she recommended investing in a water filter or a water-softening shower head.

The US tends to use hard water for showers, which doesn’t only lead to hair loss but also stunts hair growth.

Soft water lacks the buildup of harsh minerals, allowing haircare products to penetrate the scalp and hair better.

With the right hair products, this can lead to a noticeable difference in tresses.

Bailey also advised a few lifestyle changes to keep hair looking good.

“Hair loss can drastically impact your self-esteem, but there are several things you can do to help, including practicing a healthy lifestyle,” she said.

“This includes paying extra attention to a healthy diet, a balanced sleep routine, and gentle hair care.”

Pokémon Go fans flock to new paid event for extra coins — but is it worth it?

POKÉMON GO is one of the biggest mobile games on the planet, with tens of millions of players logging into the game every day to catch pocket monsters.

It’s one of the most-played Pokémon games ever, and one of the reasons it’s still so popular is because of the frequent events the game has.

a person is playing pokemon go on their phone
Millions of players play the game every single day.

At any given time, at least one major event season is ongoing, and there are often smaller events that take place during those major seasons, like Community Days and raid hours.

Sometimes, those events come with research, much of which is free, but some of which is paid.

Right now, Pokémon Go is about to celebrate the Max Out season, which introduces a host of new features, including Dynamax Pokémon, which are strong new Pokémon that can grow to gargantuan sizes.

Alongside the Max Out event is a paid research ticket, which can be purchased for real money from the Pokémon Go store in-game and on the web.

The ticket is called the Daily PokéCoin Bounty Part 1 Ticket, and it offers a host of rewards, including 200 PokéCoins right away.

The Daily PokéCoin Bounty also offers one bonus Field Research task per day, each of which offers 20 additional PokéCoins.

Those who have a ticket will get these research tasks daily for the entire month, from September 3, 2024 up until October 2, 2024.

All up, coins earned from the research tasks total 600, meaning 800 coins are up for grabs all up, including the initial 200-coin boost.

So is it worth it? Purely from a monetary standpoint, it actually does come out as a little better than just buying coins directly.

The Daily PokéCoin Bounty Part 1 Ticket costs £4.99, while coins come in batches of 100 and 550 coins, costing £0.99 and £4.99, respectively.

You can essentially pay the price of 550 coins and get 800 in return, along with quite a few other bonuses, too.

Ticket holders also get triple experience from first PokéStop spins and first catches every day, as well as 15,000 experience and stardust through rewards across the event.

The event comes as news about the Pokémon main series has stalled, with the last announcement being for Pokémon Legends: Z-A back in February, without gameplay or further details.

Apple slammed over ‘disappointing’ iOS 18 ‘downgrade’ coming to iPhone next week that slows down popular screen feature

Apple is to unveil its blockbuster iOS 18 upgrade next week, but there’s one feature that’s receiving a downgrade, according to reports.

The company will unveil the iPhone 16 on September 9, and is forecast to launch two other products alongside.

Live Activities is the feature used for keeping up to date with football scores, or the estimated arrival time of an approaching cab[/caption]

But the software update, that arrives hand-in-hand with the new handset, is reportedly levelling-down Apple’s Live Activities feature.

Live Activities widgets, introduced with iOS 16 in 2022, are essentially notifications on the lock screen or Dynamic Island that provide second-by-second information.

This is typically used for keeping up to date with football scores, or the estimated arrival time of an approaching cab.

But according to 9to5Mac, Apple is restricting the rate at which these widgets can refresh.

The downgrade, spelled out in recent Apple feedback to an app developer, is expected to cause problems for apps that want to show real-time information.

Apple went on to say that Live Activities were “never intended to be used to create real-time experiences”, despite a mention of real-time fitness metrics on the official Live Activities guide for iOS developers.

Each update from a Live Activities widget requires data to be written to the storage on the iPhone, according to Apple, which can degrade the battery and other hardware components.

The update intervals are going to be set at 5 to 15 seconds in iOS 18.

While most iPhone owners have called “disappointing”, some say it’s “more than enough”.

“I used it for speed tracking of my bike. This metric is worthless with iOS 18,” the app developer said on social media platform X.

“I don’t need to know my speed from 10 seconds ago. Apple clearly says “real time” in their user interface guideline.”

Another added: “Disappointing. You’d think by 2024 our phones would be as powerful as a clock from the 1800s”

A third person replied, saying: “I don’t want to believe it. They will probably correct this.”

A fourth onlooker said: “Sounds bad but [to be honest] 5-15s is more than enough… nothing needs actual on-the-second real-time updates…”

iPhone tricks to try today

Here are some of the best...

  • Typing cursor – When typing, hold down the space bar to turn your keyboard into a trackpad, letting you move around words and sentences more easily
  • Close all Safari tabs – To do this in one go, simply hold the overlapped squares in the bottom right-hand corner, and press close all tabs
  • Delete lots of photos quickly – Hold down on a photo and then drag your finger diagonally in Photos to select lots of images at once, then hit delete
  • Convert currency quickly – Swipe down from the top of your Home screen, then tap in the bar and type a currency (like €200) and it will automatically covert to your local currency
  • Check if you’re due a battery upgrade – Batteries inside smartphones degrade over time. Just go to Settings > Battery > Battery Health, and check out the Maximum Capacity reading. Generally a battery is considered worn when you’re down to 80% capacity. If you’re below, you can buy a battery swap from Apple
  • Move apps around faster – Hold an app until it starts wiggling, then (while still holding) tap other apps, causing them to stack so you can move them around easier

Britain announces partial ban on arms exports to Israel with 30 licences suspended after ‘clear risk’ found in review

BRITAIN is suspending around 30 arms export licences to Israel, the Foreign Secretary has announced.

David Lammy said he had “no choice” but to stop the shipments that could be used to “facilitate a serious violation of international humanitarian laws”.

Foreign Secretary David Lammy is suspending some arms export licences to Israel[/caption]

The Minister said it is “not a decision we take lightly” and that he continues to support Israel’s right to defend itself against Hamas.

The 30 export licences – out of a total 350 – will impact kit like aircraft, helicopters and drones.

He said the decision follows a two-month internal review following serious concern about Israel’s conduct in Gaza.

Mr Lammy insisted he remains a champion for Israel and supports a two-state solution for an independent Palestine.

Making a statement in the Commons, he said: “Facing a conflict such as this, it is this Government’s legal duty to review export licences.

“Criteria 2C of the strategic export licensing criteria states that the Government will not issue export licences if there is a clear risk that the items might be used to commit or facilitate serious violations of international humanitarian law.

“It is with regret that I inform the House today the assessment I have received leaves me unable to conclude anything other than that for certain UK arms exports to Israel, there does exist a clear risk that they might be used to commit or facilitate a serious violation of international humanitarian law.

“I have informed the Business and Trade secretary, and he is therefore today announcing the suspension of around 30 from a total of approximately 350 to Israel, as required under the export controls act.

“These include equipment that we assess is for use in the current conflict in Gaza.”

Where Married At First Sight UK couples are now… from shock ‘abuse’ claims to star savagely dumped by ex on live radio

IT’S the popular matchmaking show that sees unlucky-in-love singletons meet for the first time when they say ‘I do’ at their wedding ceremony.

But rather unfortunately, Married At First Sight has a success rate of just SEVEN per cent – and for those that don’t make it, there’s often plenty of drama behind their split.

Although Erica and Jordan tried to make it work, their relationship turned toxic[/caption]

The show is a ratings success, averaging two million viewers per episode last year, thanks to the mix of high-stakes romance, awkward introductions, and intense emotional drama.

And for those who have followed the cast’s journeys after the cameras stopped rolling, they haven’t been disappointed.

There have been savage cheating scandals, blazing rows and surprise recouplings.

One former contestant has even found himself in the spotlight numerous times after his relationship with a controversial media personality.

Today, the brides and grooms of this year’s series have now been revealed and they include a former beauty queen and a retired clown who admits he has been “unlucky in love”.

With the ninth series of MAFS expected to kick off later this month, we reveal what became of some of the show’s most memorable couples.

Erica and Jordan

When it comes to explosive couples on the show, very few come close to the combustible nature of Erica Roberts and Jordan Gayle’s relationship.

Although the pair decided to stay together during the final vows, they split earlier this year after months of rows turned their relationship toxic.

Their break-up came just two months after they revealed plans to move in together in Manchester.

A source at the time told Mail Online: “It was Erica that ended her marriage with Jordan… she did everything possible to make it work but sadly they struggled and in the end, she had no choice but to give up.”

They continued: “Jordan can be hotheaded and Erica’s looking for someone who’s a bit more laidback so in the end it was a constant personality clash.

“Of course, both parties are upset and didn’t want this to be how their story ended but also in the long-term, it’s better for them both to move on.”

After the news of their split broke, Erica took to Instagram to write: “It’s disappointing that Jordan and I weren’t able to share this on our own terms due to the press leak but we would just like to confirm that we are no longer together.

“This hasn’t been an easy decision for us both as we really wanted to make our relationship work.

“I truly wish him all the best and there is no bad blood between us.”

Paul and Tasha

Fans of the show were firmly behind Paul Liba and Tasha Jay after they found a strong connection as soon as they met.

Although fiery Tasha got into some arguments on the show, Paul continued to stand by her and support her.

Away from the experiment, they decided to stay together and appear to be going strong.

Shortly after their final vows, Tasha took to social media to share a post of them with the caption: “I choose you now, tomorrow & forever.”

Georges and Peggy

Georges and Peggy tried to make it work after the show, but they split earlier this year[/caption]

When Georges Bert, 30, and Peggy Rose, 32, first met, fans had high hopes, as their chemistry was undeniable.

But it soon fizzled out when Peggy’s sister did not warm up to Georges and called him rude.

Their dwindling bond went from bad to worse after he revealed details about his online gaming channel, which included videos of him squatting in what appears to be a leotard.

The MAFS couples who are still going strong

MAFS UK has a minuscule success rate of just seven per cent.

Here we reveal the couples that are still going strong:

  • Paul and Tasha
  • Matt and Shona
  • Jenna and Zoe
  • Adam and Tayah
  • Owen and Michelle

In an attempt to get her on board, he even described his backside, saying he had “great cheeks.”

In addition, Georges was not pleased about Peggy’s parents’ reaction to their relationship, which sparked rows. They also faced claims that they were faking their union.

Although they decided to stay together and try to make it work, they announced their split earlier this year.

Ella Morgan‘s time on the show as its first transgender woman was not a smooth ride.

She was first paired with Nathanial Valentino but when it became clear that it would lead nowhere, she soon found herself with new arrival JJ Slater, 31, who was already paired up.

Although they had a bond from the start, they decided to go their separate ways.

JJ is now in a relationship with former glamour model Katie Price, 46, and has been by her side throughout her latest run-in with the law.

The couple hit it off after Katie reached out to JJ to wish him well after he was diagnosed with diabetes.

They have since been on several holidays together and have even sparked rumours of an engagement.

Ella has said that she harbours no ill will toward the couple and that Katie even reached out to her. Currently, she is looking for love again on reality show Celebs Go Dating.

Thomas and Adrian

Everyone can remember Thomas Hartley’s cheeky smile and immaculately faded haircut – but these days the Liverpudlian looks almost unrecognisable.

The 33-year-old reality star now sports a shaved noggin after deciding to ditch his dark locks in a rebrand.

Thomas has also openly admitted to undergoing a string of cosmetic procedures including a hair transplant, filler, having his ears pinned and two sets of veneers in his quest for beauty perfection.

He was very open about his work on the show but admitted getting Botox injected into his creaseless face was a “stupid” thing to do.

He told Closer Magazine: “I don’t want to end up looking like Michael Jackson. But you can’t have bad brows in Liverpool… They’re like the nipples of the face.”

Things didn’t work out romantically for him and Adrian Anderson, who soon after their split labelled him a “cruel bully”. The pair have exchanged verbal blows since and do not appear to be in touch.

Terrence and Porscha

Porsha claimed that Terrence cheated on her with multiple women[/caption]

Last year, fans were confused about why Terrence Edwards and Porscha Pernelle stayed together for as long as they did when they were paid together.

The couple seemed to be complete opposites of each other and had fiery clashes.

After a game of spin the bottle, their relationship became even more fractured. They both decided to leave the show early.

Porscha also sensationally claimed that Terrence cheated on her with multiple women while they were filming the show. She even claimed she had proof of his infidelity.

Speaking on the Reality with Will podcast, she said: “Well since the show has been airing, I’ve had multiple women message me to say he was in a relationship with them.

“I kid you not, and I’ve got the receipts – I will show you. I’ll get my phone and show you the DMs I’ve been getting.”

Terrence, however, has strongly denied her claims.

Shona Manderson, 31, and Brad Skelly, 28, seemed to have found their perfect match in each other when they first started their married life.

But fans soon began to spot traits that convinced them that the union wouldn’t last. During one explosive dinner party, Brad told her to “shut up” sending the internet into a meltdown.

I don’t want to end up looking like Michael Jackson. But you can’t have bad brows in Liverpool

Their relationship ended when the show’s experts asked them to leave.

While Brad went on to a new relationship with Hollie Balwin, Shona ended up with Matt Pilmoor, who was also on the series. The couple are still together.

George and April

Channel 4

Financial advisor George Roberts thought he’d found the one when ex Ms Great Britain April Banbury held his hand through the vow renewals last series.

However, the promising couple announced their split in August last year, following a Spanish holiday.

Fans were left shocked when it later emerged that the reality TV hunk had been arrested for alleged controlling and coercive behaviour – he has continued to deny wrongdoing.

The Sun revealed cops were investigating George after three of his ex-girlfriends raised concerns when they saw him on the show.

The three women made independent complaints about his alleged “obsessive”, “manipulative” and “abusive” behaviour.

Shortly after George’s arrest, April told fans she was seeing a therapist to deal with “trauma” from the show.

She added the “show ruined her life”, claiming: “No one should apply to take part until they put in place more stringent background checks.”

April said: “When the show told me about The Sun story, they told me I needed to be there to support George. I felt like they silenced me when I wanted to speak.”

Channel 4 insisted it was “untrue to suggest April was asked to take a position against her wishes, nor would we seek to silence her.”

When a proud meat-eater got hitched to a vegan, most thought it was a recipe for disaster.

But lovers Jenna Robinson and Zoe Clifton proved the critics wrong and have become last season’s biggest success story.

The series’ first-ever lesbian couple did experience some bumps in the road early on, but according to social media, they are still going strong.

He was divorcing me. He had cheated on me. He was announcing it on the radio. There are very few moments in your life that truly rock you to your core

Stephanie

Just last month they were pictured clinking glasses during a “stay at home” date night.

Zoe recently shared a heartfelt anniversary post, writing: “Just like the Queen had two birthdays… we have 2 anniversaries.

“First on April 7 and the other is the day our wedding aired and you all saw the beginning of our journey.

“I guess we’ll have a third when we get married for real which I’ve just realised is going to cost me a fortune.”

In June, the couple announced that they had gotten engaged.

As tumultuous break-ups go, it doesn’t get much worse than this.

Ben and Stephanie were a solid fan favourite during the early stages of season three as they seemed to really hit it off.

It all came crashing down, however, when Ben revealed he’d got another woman pregnant before his stint on Celebrity Big Brother in 2018.

It was reported heartbroken Stephanie heard about their divorce in the news, despite him claiming they’d had a conversation before he announced it.

At the time, she said: “He was divorcing me. He had cheated on me. He was announcing it on the radio. There are very few moments in your life that truly rock you to your core.”

To make matters worse, Ben admitted he’d cheated on Stephanie before they went on their honeymoon.

Ben is now pursuing a career as an actor and professional boxer, while Stephanie is living her best life showing fans pictures of her holidays on Instagram.

She also shaved her head in 2019 to raise money to help her friend who was battling cancer.

It was love at first sight for these two lovebirds, who tied the knot in season five in 2020.

They remain happily married now, and have even bought a house together.

The loved up pair even share an Instagram account where they post snaps of their life as a married couple.

After the show Michelle moved from Hastings to Sheffield to be with her man.

On their one year anniversary, Owen gave Michelle a diary he’d been keeping since they met on the experiment, inscribed with the words, ‘I chose you’, before getting down on one knee.

The fan-favourite couple welcomed their first child, Jessica, in December 2023.

A huge success story from 2021, it couldn’t have gone better for this couple, who now live together in Doncaster.

Tayah and Adam were the first ones to declare their love for each other while on honeymoon.

After a whirlwind romance, Adam proposed at the end of the show when they decided to stay married.

In October 2022, the smitten couple announced the arrival of their baby daughter Beau Emily.

In July Tayah shared a snap after going wedding dress shopping and revealed she’d said yes to the dress.

In January, they revealed that they had gotten married at a stately home in North Yorkshire.

Speaking about their big day, Tayah said: “It was such a beautiful day, everything went so amazingly well. But I think because I held it together during the day, it all hit me later on and I got quite emotional.”

Jonathan cemented himself as the king of savage break-ups when, after a few weeks together, he handed his new bride annulment papers stuffed inside a Christmas card.

The couple tied the knot in December 2018, but had a disastrous honeymoon in Spain.

However, he clearly saw the errors of his ways and pleaded with her for another chance, though Steph refused.

In January 2021, The Sun revealed Jonathan was reportedly blocking the divorce and ‘refusing to let go’.

A source claimed it was a “nightmare” for Steph who just wants to move on, but they were still legally married. It’s not known if they did finally divorce.

The season two couple had viewers in their corner in June 2016 as they seemed to be such a great match.

When Melissa started a new job in Milton Keynes, Clark found a flat in the area just to be close to her.

However, they couldn’t make it work and the couple divorced in November 2017 – having not seen each other for a year.

He moved back to London and later slammed the show, claiming its participants were “goaded” into having arguments by producers.

Their honeymoon in Ireland was short-lived after Jason Knowles cut it short in order to go back to work in London.

Three weeks after that, he was caught using Tinder, which was the last straw for Kate.

He later insisted he only joined the dating app after he realised their marriage was doomed – and scathingly revealed he never fancied her.

Having never consummated their marriage, it was annulled eight months later.

Shereen and David

Shereen and David didn’t work out

For Shereen, one look at her new husband’s tattoos on their honeymoon was enough to put her off – but the final nail in the coffin was him unpacking his stash of 30 condoms, burning scents and massage oil.

Deciding she’d seen enough, the pair went their separate ways and didn’t bother to remain friends.

David, however, did jump to Shereen’s defence when she admitted internet trolls attacked her accusing her of only joining the show to find fame.

He said: “Shereen has many wonderful characteristics and is a kind, positive person, an amazing mother with a good soul. She was simply hoping for a more spiritual not a logic [sic] thinker I guess.”

Emma and James

Sexual incompatibility resulted in the breakdown of Emma and James’ union after 34 weeks.

They were the last remaining couple of the first series to call time on their marriage.

In an interview, Emma said the show had “ruined her life” because a lot of men refused to meet her after finding out she was on it.

“I had no idea about the long-term effects. When you are taking part, you are not thinking about 10 years down the line,” she said.

Matt and Dan

Matt and Dan plan on getting married again in the future

Their inclusion in the sixth series was praised by the LGBTQ community and made way for the first lesbian couple set to appear in the new series.

Matt and Dan instantly made a connection and declared their love on the show.

Their relationship appeared to go from strength to strength, with Matt making the move from Leeds to Northern Ireland.

But sadly they called it a day after two years in December, claiming they’d agreed they were “better off as friends”. Matt later told The Sun there were “so many factors” that pushed them beyond the brink.

One of the most contentious issues was children, which proved a dealbreaker in the end.

Viewers always suspected Morag didn’t care as much for Luke as he did for her.

She bluntly admitted she didn’t find him attractive and had a huge dislike of his fashion sense.

After the show ended, Luke revealed Morag had ghosted him, leaving him gutted.

Luke now has a Cameo account where fans can pay for customised videos from him, while Morag works with a sexual wellness brand called Vush.

Cheating on your new husband with his mate is probably not the best way to kickstart a marriage.

But that’s what happened in 2021 when Bob discovered Megan had kissed Jordan, who was married to Alexis.

Although Bob tried to make it work, it all proved a bit too much for him and the pair called it quits.

But Bob was able to find love with someone else after the show.

Meanwhile Megan has gone back to acting and Bob has taken up modelling.

The pair finally tied the knot in July after Covid cancelled their plans[/caption]

Although these two were paired for the show, they never actually met at the aisle due to the outbreak of Covid.

Desperate to meet the woman producers had matched him with, Paul begged producers to put him in touch with Ally – and good job too.

The pair hit it off immediately and Ally moved from Worth in West Sussex to Weston-Super-Mare to be with Paul.

They welcomed a baby daughter in July 2021 – a month after getting engaged – and chronicle their life together on Instagram and YouTube.

In an interview, Ally said: “Paul and I were made for each other. From the moment we started chatting to each other it was obvious we were a perfect match.”

They are still in touch with show expert Paul Carrick Brunson, who met their baby girl last year. In July, the couple finally tied the knot with Paul and other show experts in attendance.

Man Utd stars rally around Casemiro and refuse to let him take blame for Liverpool horror show

CAMESMIRO has won the immediate backing of Manchester United team-mates after his much-criticised display in Liverpool’s 3-0 win at Old Trafford.

Sun Online can reveal that United skipper Bruno Fernandes was among those leading a rallying cry after a disastrous defeat in which the Brazilian midfielder was hauled off at half-time.

Portuguese midfielder Fernandes told the squad everyone had to take responsibility for a performance which many pundits think could spell the beginning of the end for manager Erik ten Hag.

A source said: “Nobody was pointing the finger at Casemiro after the game.

“If anything the opposite was true and the mood among the dressing room was that everybody had to improve and do better.

“Fernandes was particularly vocal and made clear it was on everyone to turn things around and to ensure they worked hard to get back on track.”

And despite Casemiro’s errors yesterday a United insider said the former Real Madrid player still has a future at the club.

He’s regarded as one of the most popular members of the dressing room and his team-mates are backing him to bounce back from a horror-show.

The anchorman had been linked with a move away over the summer.

But neither Ten Hag or the club’s new management team believed shifting Casemiro would be in the club’s best interests.

Our revelations on the players’ support for the 32-year-old come after his wife also spoke out defiantly.

Taking to Instagram in the early hours of Monday morning, Anna Mariana Casemiro posted a photo of her husband’s incredible trophy cabinet at their home, reminding fans of all he has achieved in the game.

However, he was widely castigated for his role in Liverpool’s two first-half goals from Luis Diaz.

Sky Sports co-commentator Jamie Carragher claimed it was a ‘sad sight’ to see Casemiro struggling so badly, and he was replaced at the interval by 20-year-old Toby Collyer.

Carragher had also called for United to move on from the midfielder following a humiliating 4-0 loss away to Crystal Palace at the end of last season.

Casemiro was also ridiculed on social media after his hapless display, prompting his wife, then as now, to hit back at critics.

Man Utd player ratings vs Liverpool

MANCHESTER UNITED had a horror show against Liverpool as they lost 3-0.

Casemiro was so bad he was taken off at half-time.

But were there any positive performances at Old Trafford?

Andre Onana – 5
Nothing he could do about any of Liverpool’s goals and made a few saves to prevent the scoreline from getting worse.

Noussair Mazraoui – 5
Came close to scoring in the first half and looked solid enough against Diaz although he did push up too high before Liverpool’s opener.

Matthijs de Ligt – 4
Left Diaz and Domink Szobozslai in acres of space for the opening goal but was left in a tricky spot thanks to Casemiro’s error.

Booked for a shocking late tackle on Diaz.

Lisandro Martinez – 3
Lost Diaz for the second goal which meant the Colombian was able to score unmarked from the penalty spot.

Also guilty of giving away the ball too easily and was not tight enough with his marking.

Diogo Dalot – 4
Was caught out pushing up too quickly for the first goal and did not do enough to stop Mo Salah’s cross in the build-up to Liverpool’s second.

Looked dangerous in attack at times but too infrequently as he had plenty of defensive work to do since Rashford did not track Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Casemiro – 2
A horror show in the first half as he gave the ball away in the lead up to both of Liverpool’s goals.

He was caught on the ball for the second after a shocking misplaced pass left his defence vulnerable for the opening goal. Hooked at half-time.

Kobbie Mainoo – 4
Fell victim to the Casemiro curse as he was shrugged off the ball in a terrible position, allowing Liverpool to add a third with ease.

Bruno Fernandes – 5
Was United’s most creative spark but that is not saying much. Tried to get his side going in the first half but looked short of ideas and inspiration after the break.

Alejandro Garnacho – 4
Still appears to be a little rusty and is yet to hit the heights he reached last season.

Marcus Rashford – 3
Nothing came off for the out-of-sorts forward who must be running out of chances before he is dropped.

Joshua Zirkzee – 4
Quiet up-front and had little influence on the wing as well, but missed a clear-cut chance with his head and should have turned in Rashford’s cross which he met at the far post.

Subs
Tom Collyer (for Casemiro, HT) – 5
A difficult game for the youngster to make his Premier League debut but he put himself about and won a few tackles.

Harry Maguire (for De Ligt, 69mins) – 5
Shored things up at the back as Liverpool took their foot off the pedal.

Amad (for Garnacho, 69mins) – 5
Provided a spark on the right and looked more lively than Garnacho.

Christian Eriksen (for Zirkzee, 86mins) – N/A
Not on long enough to make an impact.
