Man Utd fans think Erik ten Hag will be SACKED as 4 eerie omens emerges comparing season with Mourinho’s final in charge

MANCHESTER UNITED fans think that Erik ten Hag could be asked after spotting four eerie omens.

The pressure is already starting to mount on the Dutch manager after the defeat to Liverpool on Sunday.

Man United were beaten 3-0 at Old Trafford by the Reds in their second defeat of the Premier League season.

The Red Devils lost to Brighton and Hove Albion 2-1 at the Amex in the previous matchday.

This has left the club with just three points from a possible nine in the new campaign.

Fans have now spotted four eerie omens that could point to Ten Hag leaving his post as manager.

The omens are linked to Jose Mourinho‘s time in charge of the club before he was sacked.

The first is that the season started on a Friday night in 2018 just like the current campaign. United beat Leicester City, and this season, they beat Fulham.

The second omen is that both second games ended in a defeat to the Seagulls as Mourinho’s side lost 3-2 at the Amex.

They then followed that with a defeat to a big six team at Old Trafford, while Ten Hag‘s side lost to Liverpool, and Mourinho lost to Tottenham.

The final omen of the four is that Ten Hag was speaking about trophies.

After being told about the mistakes his side made against the Reds, Ten Hag defended his team by pointing to success in domestic trophies since his arrival.

Man Utd player ratings vs Liverpool

MANCHESTER UNITED had a horror show against Liverpool as they lost 3-0.

Casemiro was so bad he was taken off at half-time.

But were there any positive performances at Old Trafford?

Amadou Onana – 5
Nothing he could do about any of Liverpool’s goals and made a few saves to prevent the scoreline from getting worse.

Noussair Mazraoui – 5
Came close to scoring in the first half and looked solid enough against Diaz although he did push up too high before Liverpool’s opener.

Matthijs de Ligt – 4
Left Diaz and Domink Szobozslai in acres of space for the opening goal but was left in a tricky spot thanks to Casemiro’s error.

Booked for a shocking late tackle on Diaz.

Lisandro Martinez – 3
Lost Diaz for the second goal which meant the Colombian was able to score unmarked from the penalty spot.

Also guilty of giving away the ball too easily and was not tight enough with his marking.

Diogo Dalot – 4
Was caught out pushing up too quickly for the first goal and did not do enough to stop Mo Salah’s cross in the build-up to Liverpool’s second.

Looked dangerous in attack at times but too infrequently as he had plenty of defensive work to do since Rashford did not track Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Casemiro – 2
A horror show in the first half as he gave the ball away in the lead up to both of Liverpool’s goals.

He was caught on the ball for the second after a shocking misplaced pass left his defence vulnerable for the opening goal. Hooked at half-time.

Kobbie Mainoo – 4
Fell victim to the Casemiro curse as he was shrugged off the ball in a terrible position, allowing Liverpool to add a third with ease.

Bruno Fernandes – 5
Was United’s most creative spark but that is not saying much. Tried to get his side going in the first half but looked short of ideas and inspiration after the break.

Alejandro Garnacho – 4
Still appears to be a little rusty and is yet to hit the heights he reached last season.

Marcus Rashford – 3
Nothing came off for the out-of-sorts forward who must be running out of chances before he is dropped.

Joshua Zirkzee – 4
Quiet up-front and had little influence on the wing as well, but missed a clear-cut chance with his head and should have turned in Rashford’s cross which he met at the far post.

Subs
Tom Collyer (for Casemiro, HT) – 5
A difficult game for the youngster to make his Premier League debut but he put himself about and won a few tackles.

Harry Maguire (for De Ligt, 69mins) – 5
Shored things up at the back as Liverpool took their foot off the pedal.

Amad (for Garnacho, 69mins) – 5
Provided a spark on the right and looked more lively than Garnacho.

Christian Eriksen (for Zirkzee, 86mins) – N/A
Not on long enough to make an impact.

He said: “After City, we won the most trophies in English football. I’m sorry for you.”

This is similar to Mourinho’s rant in which he proclaimed his three Premier League titles and had more success than the other managers in the division.

The Portuguese manager went on to win six of the next 14 league games and was sacked in December 2018.

Fans have seen the similarities and reacted to the omens on social media.

One posted: “Where have I seen this before…?”

A second wrote: “History is about to repeat itself.”

A third wrote: “Ruud [van Nistelrooy] will be our manager before Christmas it’s just the way it’s going you can just tell.”

A fourth said: “I think everyone knows eth will be sacked and should’ve been sacked in May. It’s just a matter of when now, not if, and that’s down to Ineos bottling it.”

Another added: “He will be sacked by December.”

Quarter of Britain’s homes do NOT have a smoke alarm, research finds

A QUARTER of Britain’s homes do not have a smoke alarm, according to research.

The study of 2,000 homeowners also found 27 per cent do not have a carbon monoxide detector installed, and 41 per cent of those who do fail to test the battery annually.

With only 29 per cent changing them over every year and 27 per cent admitting they are tired of having to regularly check things within the home.

Joanna Flowers, a service and repair engineer at British Gas, which commissioned the research for Gas Safety Week, said: “Carrying out regular maintenance checks of household appliances and alarms not only makes sure things are working as they should be, but can help identify any serious faults that could potentially put people at risk.

Gas appliances that have not been properly maintained can cause gas leaks, fires, explosions and carbon monoxide poisoning.

“Installing a carbon monoxide alarm and checking it’s in good working condition regularly will help the overall safety of your home.”

The research found homeowners are better with their boilers, with 72 per cent having them serviced annually.

But 13 per cent admitted they have no idea how their boiler works, and 44 per cent wouldn’t be confident changing the settings themselves.

Similarly, 39 per cent don’t go near the controls in case they change something which can’t be reverted.

In an attempt to understand their central heating system, 31 per cent say they have searched online for answers.

But 21 per cent admitted they’re not good at remembering to book in a service for their boiler, despite 74 per cent knowing it’s very important to do so.

As a result, 11 per cent believe they waste money on household bills due to not understanding how things work.

When buying their most recent home, 36 per cent made sure they found out when their boiler was last serviced, but 20 per cent ended up having an issue with it within 12 months.

Joanna Flowers added: “It’s easy to overlook simple checks around the house and the research findings show that homeowners are doing just that.

“An annual boiler service is essential for keeping a household system running smoothly and efficiently while also helping to prolong its lifespan.

“We recommend getting your boiler serviced once a year to give you peace of mind that everything is working as it should be.”

Stranded Boeing astronaut reports ‘strange pulsing noises’ coming from doomed space capsule in eerie urgent call to Nasa

ONE of the stranded Nasa astronauts aboard the International Space Station (ISS) has reported a “strange noise” coming from the Starliner spacecraft he arrived on.

Butch Wilmore, 61, contacted the Johnson Space Centre in Houston on Saturday to alert them of the sound just days before the faulty vessel is sent back to Earth.

Starliner is set to be undocked from the ISS on September 6, before it attempts an unmanned return to Earth on autopilot[/caption]

“I’ve got a question about Starliner,” Wilmore said on the radio, Ars Technica first reported.

“There’s a strange noise coming through the speaker… I don’t know what’s making it.”

Mission control managed to link up to the audio inside Starliner, which has been docked on the ISS for nearly three months after an eight day mission went awry.

Wilmore then put his microphone up to the speaker inside Starliner, to give ground controllers a better listen.

“Alright Butch, that one came through,” Mission control radioed up to Wilmore.

“It was kind of like a pulsing noise, almost like a sonar ping.”

Wilmore replied: “I’ll do it one more time, and I’ll let y’all scratch your heads and see if you can figure out what’s going on… Call us if you figure it out.”

Starliner is set to be undocked from the ISS on September 6, before it attempts an unmanned return to Earth on autopilot.

On August 24, Nasa revealed plans for Wilmore and his Starliner crewmate Sunita Williams, 58, to return to Earth on a SpaceX Dragon capsule.

The Dragon capsule will ferry Nasa astronaut Nick Hague and Russian cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov to the ISS on September 24, picking up Wilmore and Wilmore for a return flight.

Wilmore and Williams flew to the ISS for an eight-day mission in early June, following a launch that was plagued by helium leaks and delays.

The spacecraft safely delivered the pair to the ISS, but had sprung more helium leaks and five of its 28 thrusters had failed by the time it arrived.

After the doomed Boeing capsule, which had $4billion of taxpayer money funneled into it, was deemed to risky for a crewed return, Wilmore and Williams were looking at an up to six month stay.

The duo are both on their third mission to the ISS, and were feared to suffer the devastating effects of space on the human body should they not see home until 2025.

Astronauts lose between 1% and 2% of bone density for every month spent in space, according to previous research by Canada’s University of Calgary, which can have life-altering knock-on effects.

How does space affect the body?

Space takes a significant toll on the human body, such as:

  • Redistribution of fluid around body due to long periods of weightlessness
  • Bone density loss in critical areas such as lower limbs and spine
  • Muscle atrophy

Although ISS astronauts spend an average of two hours a day exercising, muscle loss is unavoidable in space.

It takes several years to recover from a six-month spaceflight.

There can be ongoing health concerns long after astronauts have returned to Earth, including:

  • Higher risk of bone fracture
  • Increase in erectile dysfunction
  • Cancer risk due to radiation exposure

‘This is s**t’ viewers blast latest episode of 22 Kids and Counting as ‘the most boring ever’ after format makeover

FANS of 22 Kids and Counting were left unimpressed as the show had a format change.

Viewers of the Channel 5 hit show took to X – formerly known as Twitter – after the latest episode following the Radford brood ditched the usual format for something different.

Viewers branded it the ‘most boring ever’ after a format shake-up[/caption]

Instead of following the usual exploits of the Britain‘s biggest family, fans were treated to Sue and Noel Radford sharing a list of their top 22 parenting tips.

The tricks were illustrated with previous footage from their series – however, the new format didn’t go down a treat on social media.

Audiences were scrambling to X to voice their disappointment with the change.

Far from impressed, one fan of the family bemoaned: “This is gonna be the most boring episode ever #22kidsandcounting.”

Another chimed in, saying: “Ohh it’s just a countdown!

”I’m disappointed now #22KidsAndCounting.”

A third shared their letdown, venting: “This is s**t.”

However, not all feedback was negative, with a viewer raving: “Loved the episode of 22 kids and counting tonight something a bit different to the normal series. #22kidsandcounting #Radfordfamily.”

Throughout last night’s episode, the Sue and Noel, 49 and 53, revealed the ”worst” moment they’ve experienced as parents to a whopping 22 kids.

This happened during a trip to Alton Towers when they had to deal with what they called “a parent’s absolute worst nightmare”.

Sue said: “When you have so many kids to keep an eye on, when you’re out and about, or you’re on holiday, you really do have to have eyes in the back of your head.

“We usually do try and keep them in an area we can see them.”

“[But] it’s like herding cats,” Noel remarked and Sue said: “We always say that don’t we?”

Noel continued: “They’re off! They want to run off in all different directions.”

The matriarch – who almost bought a £850k country pad – went on: “So when we went to Alton Towers once, and Hallie and Phoebe disappeared – oh my goodness.

Q&A with Sue and Noel Radford

With 22 kids, Sue and Noel have learnt a lot over the years.

Who is the stricter parent? Sue

Who is the naughtiest child? Archie

Do you prefer being parents or grandparents? Grandparents, you can spoil them more, and give them back at the end of the day!

What’s one thing you can’t teach your kids? Driving lessons, don’t even attempt to do them with your kids, it’s not worth it.

What’s something you’ve never told your children? We’ve never sat down with any of the kids and told them ‘this is how babies are made’. We’ve never had that conversation.

What’s your best parenting hack? Turn chores into games – making them fun to get them involved and help out.

How do you manage arguments and disagreements? There’s always someone falling out with someone else. When they get older, they have their own own opinions, and arguments get heated and last longer. We try to listen to them both, be the reasonable one, and get them to see it from both sides.

“That is a parent’s absolute worst nightmare.”

A clip from the day was shown and the mum-of-22 said: “They were right there and now I don’t know where they’ve gone.

Pie master Noel was heard shouting his daughters’ names but the little girls were nowhere to be seen.

According to the parents, they usually manage their bumper brood by Noel being at the front, “making sure none of them are running off ahead and Sue’s at the back making sure none of them are lagging behind”.

But after Hallie and Phoebe wandered off, Sue said she went “into panic mode”.

“Your heart feels like it’s going to come out of your chest.

“It was the worst few minutes ever,” and Noel said “it felt like forever”.
