HIGH STREET HEROES: Don’t overlook the high street for stylish and budget-friendly options. Debenhams.com has Coast wedding dresses with up to 40 per cent off, and you can find unique, handmade options on etsy.com for much less than traditional bridal boutiques.
ALTERATION ADVANTAGE: If you find a dress that isn’t your size but is within your budget, don’t hesitate to buy it. A skilled tailor or seamstress can make adjustments to your wedding gown, often at a lower cost than buying a perfectlyfitted dress at full price.
SNAG A SAMPLE: Keep an eye out for bridal sample sales, where you can score designer gowns at significant discounts. Eventbrite.com lists upcoming sales, or you can shop online at sites like thebridalvillage.co.uk for top-brand dresses at reduced prices.
SHOW OFF: Get ahead with early-bird tickets to wedding dress shows like The National Wedding Show in London and Birmingham this October.
