Watch Lewis Hamilton’s potential successor Antonelli fail Mercedes audition with HUGE blunder in Italian GP practice

LEWIS HAMILTON’S potential successor Andrea Kimi Antonelli suffered a huge crash in the Mercedes car during a practice session at the Italian Grand Prix.

Italian Antonelli, 18, is on the verge of being announced as George Russell’s team-mate next year after impressing in the Silver Arrows’ junior set-up.

Mercedes boss Toto Wolff confirmed earlier this month Max Verstappen will not be signing for them next year, leaving the door open for the young prodigy.

But Antonelli‘s bid to seal his seat suffered a blow on Friday afternoon when he crashed during his stint in the first practice session at Monza.

He spun out just 10 minutes into P1 and crashed into the wall as a red flag was waved.

Antonelli got out of the car and walked away seemingly unscathed after apologising to the team on the radio.

In response, Wolff replied: “Kimi, all good. All good, Kimi.”

Antonelli, who has been with Mercedes since he was 11 years of age, was touted as one of a number of candidates to replace Hamilton after the seven-time champion announced he would be joining Ferrari in 2025.

Driving the Mercedes car in front of his home fans will have been a special moment for the teenager.

And Wolff said: “Qualifying with Kimi in Monza will be emotional because we have followed him since he was 11.

“Having an Italian kid in a competitive car, everybody in Italy can be  proud.”

Antonelli began karting at the age of just seven and won the CIK-FIA Karting European Champion in both 2020 and 2021.

He then made his debut in single-seaters for Prema Racing in the Italian F4 Championship three weeks after turning 15.

He has a number of wins to his name in F4, along with the 2023 Formula Regional European Championship.

Antonelli is also currently contesting the Formula 2 Championship for Prema.

Wolff has said of him: “Since working together, Kimi has ticked all the boxes.

“But not only that, I really like him as a boy, and as a personality, and he has a fantastic family environment around him that helps him always keep his feet on the ground.

“He has a great talent and can count on the important values that come from his family.”

Black Myth Wukong might have an exclusivity deal with PlayStation meaning devs lied to fans

BLACK Myth: Wukong has been a huge success, selling 10million copies in the first three days, something virtually unheard of when it comes to debut games.

It is currently the biggest game in the world with 2.5million concurrent players on Steam at its peak.

Black Myth: Wukong is currently the most popular game in the world[/caption]

What is even more surprising about Black Myth: Wukong’s sales, is that it is currently only available on two platforms: PC and PS5.

Developer GameScience claims that an Xbox version for Xbox Series X|S is in development, but it is still being optimised for the consoles.

An FAQ on the game’s page reads: “We are currently optimising the Xbox Series X|S version to meet our quality standards, so it won’t release simultaneously with the other platforms.

“We apologise for the delay and aim to minimise the wait for Xbox users. We will announce the release date as soon as it meets our quality standards.”

Xbox demands feature parity between its powerful Series X and budget Series S consoles, which has previously caused delays for other games.

Most notably 2023’s Game of the Year, Baldur’s Gate 3, was delayed on Xbox due to issues implementing split screen co-op play.

However, a new report from IGN claims that GameScience has signed a secret exclusivity deal with Sony so that Black Myth: Wukong is a timed-exclusive on PlayStation.

IGN claims that this information was told to them via anonymous sources and so it is impossible to verify.

However, Xbox previously made a statement about the delay of Black Myth: Wukong that mentions exclusivity deals long before this report came to light.

In June Microsoft commented: “We’re excited for the launch of Black Myth: Wukong on Xbox Series X|S and are working with GameScience to bring the game to our platforms.

“We can’t comment on the deals made by our partners with other platform holders, but we remain focused on making Xbox the best platform for gamers, and great games are at the centre of that.”

As Microsoft made these comments two months before the report, it could be that there was an exclusivity deal already in place at this time.

Black Myth: Wukong is out now for PS5 and PC, and while it is still slated to launch on Xbox Series X|S, a release date for this version has not been given.

What are the rare McDonald’s Monopoly pieces 2024?

McDonald’s Monopoly will back in stores in just under a week, giving customers a chance to win hundreds of prizes.

But in order to get the biggest wins you will need to track down the rarest stickers.

The annual game is set to return to the home of the Big Mac on September 4 and promises players everything from cash to free food.

Those who wish to take part in the Monopoly game collect stickers from their food packaging that represent train stations or colour co-ordinated road names – much like the classic game.

But not all menu items are worth the same amount, and this determines how you redeem a prize.

For example, instant win food prizes can be redeemed at any McDonald’s branch by handing the token over at the counter when you order.

You’ll need to hand the game pieces over to a member of staff when you collect your meal.

There are thousands of prizes to be won including £100k in cash and an electric car.

What are the rare McDonald’s Monopoly pieces in 2024?

The rarest Monopoly piece is Mayfair with only five of these stickers up for grabs.

Four of these much desired Mayfair stickers will be concealed in your favourite food packaging, and one will be hidden on the app as part of the Double Peel game.

If you are interested in playing and manage to get your hands on this specific sticker then keep a close eye on it.

This is because you can win £100k if you find one.

The Sun recently published a whole piece on the rare sticker here

Up next is Regent Street , which is green in colour.

Only 21 people will have a chance to get their hands on this piece.

McDonald’s confirmed 20 of these stickers will be on menu items, and one will be on the Double Peel Game.

McDonald's Monopoly 2024

Everything you need to know...

If you get one of these you could win an MINI Electric car.

McDonald’s is also giving away a holiday worth £2,000 with Jet 2 as part of the game.

To win this you must find the Leicester Square piece, which is yellow.

Only 80 of these stickers are in circulation, so if you find one it might be worth holding on tight to it.

A total of 75 of these pieces will be hidden on the fast-food giant’s menu items and five will be on the app based game.

The Double Peel game lets users peel another sticker every time you earn yourself a property in the McDonald’s Monopoly game.

Once you’ve purchased an item and peeled a sticker, you need to head to the McDonald’s app and bank a property by scanning the sticker.

What other rare pieces should you look out for?

There is a lot of other prizes punters can get their hands on if they find the below rare pieces.

  • Strand (Red sticker) – Merlin Annual Pass for Four – 235 prizes
  • Bow Street (Orange sticker) – JBL Audio Bundle – 205 prizes
  • Pall Mall (Hot Pink sticker) -Hisense TV + Soundbar – 600 prizes
  • Kings Cross Station (Train Icon) -£200 free train credit -2,010 prizes
  • The Angel, Islington (Light Blue)- £100 Experience Day provided by Virgin Experience – 5,650 prizes

If you do not get your hands on any of these don’t worry, there are plenty of other prizes you can win on instant peel.

You can read the full list of prizes up for grabs here.

It is also worth keeping in mind that not every item on the McDonald’s menu item has a peelable sticker on it.

You will find McDonald Monopoly stickers on the below items:

  • 0.4 & 0.5 Cold Cups
  • Medium and Large Fries
  • Three and five piece Chicken Selects
  • Philly Cheese Stack
  • Chicken Big Mac
  • Large Salad Tray
  • Cheese Sharebox
  • McPlant
  • McSpicy
  • McCrispy
  • Mozzarella Dipper Bag
  • 0.3 & 0.4 Blended Ice
  • Galaxy Chocolate McFlurry and Twix Caramel McFlurry
  • Deli Wraps
  • Veggie Wraps

Be aware that the game only runs for six weeks starting September 4.

So if you buy any of these items past October 15, it will not feature a sticker and you cannot win anything.

How to save money at McDonald’s

You might not think it, but you can end up being charged more solely based on the McDonald’s restaurant you choose.

Research by The Sun found a Big Mac meal can be up to 30p cheaper at restaurants just two miles apart from each other.

Meanwhile, you can pick up a Big Mac and fries for just £2.99 by filling in a feedback survey found on any old McDonald’s receipt.

The receipt should come with a 12-digit code which you can enter into the Food for Thought website alongside your submitted survey.

You’ll then receive a five-digit code which is your voucher for the £2.99 offer.

Make sure you check out all the various apps and platforms if you’re ordering McDonald’s to your home too.

Our research found some can charge up to £1.20 more than others.

I biohacked my way to a better body, hair, and skin – it’s not just for rich men, my best tips are free or under $5

YOU can biohack your way to being hotter for less than $10, according to an expert.

Aggie Lal was suffering from hair loss and had a “puffy face” before she found the “lazy person’s way to stay fit and healthy without putting much effort in.”

Aggie Lal, 36, who lives in Los Angeles, became a biohacker to improve her appearance after her hair started falling out

Lal said she was sicker than her parents in the seven years she followed a vegan diet
Aggie Lal

Certified nutrition coach Lal, 36, was a “hardcode vegan” for seven years — but in her early thirties, she realized it just wasn’t working for her.

“My hair was falling out in patches,” she told The U.S. Sun.

“I had alopecia, which causes quite embarrassing bald patches all over your head.

“Two things that impact women the most are hair and skin.

“I had a bloated, had a puffy face, couldn’t sleep, and had anxiety attacks.

“I was thinking, ‘There has to be a better way to live. I’m sicker than my parents and I’m still super young.’”

Having read all of the books and listened to the podcasts by the founder of biohacking Dave Asprey, Lal eventually met him at an event.

WHAT IS BIOHACKING, EXACTLY?

Lal, who lives in Los Angeles, said biohacking is a term used to describe science and technology that helps to extend your life.

However, she has a different interpretation of the word.

“My personal definition of biohacking would be: it’s a lazy person’s way to stay fit and healthy without putting much effort in by using science to their advantage,” she said.

There’s a misconception that biohacking is only for “white rich men” over 40.

Lal hopes to bring more female representation by sharing budget-friendly ways to manage health using science on YouTube, where she has over 78,000 subscribers.

DO IT FOR CHEAP

“There are natural ways to detoxify your body,” she insisted.

“Dry brushing, for example, or tongue scraping every morning, having apple cider vinegar — everything that I just mentioned is under $5 and allows you to detoxify.

“You can make your own teas, dandelion, and burdock and all of these things to support that process.

Red light is great, but you can spend 10 minutes in the sun.

Aggie Lal

“You don’t have to go super high-tech and spend a lot of money.

“For every grounding mat, you literally have to stand barefoot outside for the exact same benefits in two minutes.

“Red light is great, but you can spend 10 minutes in the sun.

“Cold plunge is amazing but you can take a cold shower and that’s enough for women.

“In fact, for a lot of women, cold plunging isn’t as good for our hormones.

Lal said she no longer blends her fruit for smoothies and avoids cooking with seed oils
Aggie Lal

“Put a ball of ice on your face to restore your vagus nerve — it’s very good for your skin, just don’t get frostbite.”

Lal learned from Chinese medicine and Ayurveda that the body should be kept cool.

She said people who naturally always feel hot, sweaty, and anxious may need to use cooling techniques more frequently to get the benefits.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

As a vegan, Lal was “basically on a liquid diet” with smoothies, processed foods, and vegan versions of cheeses while avoiding fat and meat.

She hasn’t looked back since overhauling her diet in June 2020.

“The moment I got into biohacking I told myself I’m going to start eating meat a little bit at least,” she said.

“The benefits were pretty immediate, I felt like my body just got plugged into power.”

Lal said she eats much more now than when she was vegan but is mindful of how she prepares her food, avoiding see oils and blended fruit that can cause glucose spikes.

“These small changes have given me so much energy,” she said.

SIMPLE SKINCARE

Lal would spend an excessive amount of money on skincare products before she began biohacking.

Younge Goose’s pricey moisturizer has remained a staple in her daily routine.

However, she started experimenting with natural products after discovering the impact endocrine disruptors have on hormones.

“I needed to stop bombarding my body with toxins,” she said.

What is are endocrine disruptors?

According to Medical News Today, endocrine disruptors are substances found in cosmetics, food, packaging, and certain chemicals.

They disturb the body’s system responsible for producing hormones which can lead to issues such as cancer, infertility, obesity, and diabetes.

Experts recommend using products that don’t have chemicals, but as endocrine disruptors are found in water, air, diet, and skin contact it’s impossible to completely avoid them.

“Now I wake up in the morning and spend at least 10 to 15 minutes outside or do some sort of grounding.

“Whether it’s sitting on my balcony or going outside with my dog for a walk.”

Managing stress is one of her key focuses for healthy skin and avoiding sickness.

“I always say that the morning routine starts in the evening,” she said.

“So by 6 pm, I let my phone die, chill, and have an early dinner.

“I do anything that relaxes me instead of sitting on my phone till 10 pm as that would lead to bad sleep.”

Lal said she doesn’t check her mobile after 6 pm as she focuses on relaxation for a good night’s sleep

HYDRATION HEROES

Lal has replaced her morning coffee with mineral-infused water that has a pinch of sea salt.

She said minerals are equally important as vitamins but the soil in which our food is grown is “super depleted” in them.

“I have this black thing called shilajit, which is volcanic and full of 86 minerals,” she said.

“It gives me so much energy and I still have my coffee because I love it, but not from a place of, ‘Oh my God, I will not wake up.’”

Once your body releases a toxin, your hair gets better and your energy is better and everything is better.

Aggie Lal

Lal drinks up to 5 liters of water daily but believes the quality is more important than the quantity.

After filtering water, she recommends adding a pinch of good-quality sea salt.

“I’m like a water connoisseur, I stopped drinking alcohol and got really into water.”

Lal invested in a reverse osmosis filter for her water after she stopped drinking alcohol
Aggie Lal

BEAUTY BOOSTERS

Lal revealed her daily supplements include natural herbs sold by her own company.

Among them is a natural detoxifier made from dandelion root and fennel seed.

Supplements support the body after it’s been bombarded with toxins in “hairsprays, perfumes, and dishwashing liquid” as well as air pollution.

“I do everything I can to help my body detox,” she said.

“Once your body releases a toxin, your hair gets better and your energy is better and everything is better.

“And usually toxins get stored in the fat cells and it’s a spiral that makes it hard to lose weight and have energy,” she said.

FIT FOR LIFE

Before biohacking, Lal would exercise six days a week including Barry’s Bootcamp and F45 classes.

She now uses a timer on her phone to stretch and move her body throughout the day and avoids sitting for long periods.

“I work out three times a week and instead of doing any sort of conditioning or soul cycle or whatever, I just do heavy weights,” she said.

“I try to lift as heavy as possible for about 30 minutes, three times a week.

“That’s enough for me to feel stronger and build muscle.”

Aggie Lal shares more affordable biohacking tips in her book available on Amazon.
