I’m a midwife & entered raffle for the cost of a Meal Deal & won THREE homes – now I can travel & make cash

A MIDWIFE was left in utter shock after winning three houses in a raffle.

Sade Oluwaleimu, a NHS midwife from London, entered the draw with the money it would cost to buy a Meal Deal but it clearly paid off.

The founders of Tramway Path, Jason, Will and Dan, have helped many buy a home mortgage free[/caption]

Taking part in the Tramway Path raffle, Sade won three properties in Bristol worth £500,000 altogether – the price of her ticket? Just £3.

Since then Sade has been spending her time travelling the world and doing missionary work for Rwanda, Ghana and Nigeria.

She added that since winning she’s ‘really had the freedom to pursue my dreams.’

Sitting down to speak to the founders of Tramway Path on YouTube, who started their company when one of the three brothers, Dan, decided to give away his property in a giveaway, Sade revealed how it had transformed her life.

Since winning she t a position as the CEO of a charity called Life for African Mothers, focusing on providing midwives and medication to impoverished nations.

Although Sade has been able to fulfil her dreams, she revealed being a landlord was a huge learning curve.

she said; “I’m going from nothing to a lot, a full plate.

“But what’s helped is finding excellent property managers because the properties are in Bristol and I’m in Hertfordshire. And my schedule is still busy.”

The lucky winner said she has still taught herself everything she needs to know about being a landlord to make sure it’s all being managed correctly.

And of course, she says the best thing about her new role is the money which has allowed her to travel.

Despite winning and having income every month from her renters, she still works as a midwife as she loves her job.

Being mortgage free has been life-changing for Sade as she revealed: “I feel free. I feel liberated.”

And she recommends for everyone to try their luck and enter the competition themselves.

HOW YOU COULD WIN A HOUSE FOR A FIVER

For just £5, a lucky punter could scoop themselves their dream home anywhere they want in the UK this October.

The future raffle winner won’t have to fork out for legal fees or stamp duty charges either.

Property brothers, Jason, Will and Daniel Twenefour are offering the life-changing opportunity through their company Tramway Path.

Daniel told JamPrime.com: “We want to give individuals the freedom to select an area that suits their preferences.

“We introduced the new model as a result of feedback from our community.

“We understand that proximity to friends, family, or work can be important to people, and we don’t want to impose any limitations that could get in the way of these connections.”

The draw is open until October 27 with ticket bundles starting at just £5 – and you get three entries. Enter here.

While many opt for entering the Lottery, Sade reveals she much prefers Tramway Path.

She added: “”Why not give it a shot?

“To me, tramway path is more realistic than playing the lottery.

“Because we’re not believing for something unrealistic. It’s a house that people buy in their day to day and that we just can’t afford.”

The 5-fold acca – back it with William Hill

It’s a 32/1 five-fold across the top four divisions in England this week.

It starts in the top flight and ASTON VILLA (4/5) travel to Midlands rivals Leicester, looking to bounce back from defeat to Arsenal last week.

Villa will be keen to get back to winning ways and should have too much for a Foxes side that were beaten at Fulham last week.

Speaking of Fulham, they’ll face a tough afternoon at new boys IPSWICH (21/10), tipped to get their Premier League campaign up and running.

This will be viewed as a fresh start after a horrible start against Liverpool and Man City.

Beaten by League Two AFC Wimbledon in midweek won’t have helped things but this will show where they are in league terms and look a decent price at home.

High-flying SUNDERLAND (Evs) can continue their terrific start to the season with a win at Portsmouth.

Pompey have three draws and a defeat to their name so far with the Black Cats beating promotion hopefuls Burnley comfortably last time out to maintain their 100% record – without having conceded yet.

BIRMINGHAM (4/9) host Wigan having splashed the cash in this window, latterly on Lyndon Dykes.

Birmingham were beaten by Fulham in the cup in midweek but had won three on the bounce before it and look sure to be in the promotion shake-up this season.

And finally, BROMLEY (21/20) host a Crewe side that haven’t scored in any of the three league games, conceding six in the process and picking up just one point.

Saturday single

Everton to win. Ok, you’ll need to hear me out with this one.

Yes, they were well beaten by Brighton on matchday one and yes they were absolutely woeful against Tottenham last week.

But they’ll both likely be up high in European contention based on early season form, so the Toffees’ season starts on Saturday.

A home game against Bournemouth has been kind to them in the past, winning SIX of the last seven here at Goodison going back to 2016 – scoring 17 and conceding eight in the process.

Bournemouth were dumped out the cup in midweek and will be ruing their VAR misfortune denying them three points last week, having opened with two draws in the league.

  • Everton to beat Bournemouth at 7/4 with William Hill – ADD TO YOUR BET SLIP HERE.

Longshot

One for those that like a really speculative punt at silly odds.

A match result & BTTS treble, which begins with West Brom who host Swansea in the Championship. The Baggies were good 2-1 winners at Stoke last time and won this fixture 3-2 last season.

Stockport are out in front in the early stages of League One as one of only three sides to win all their games so far. They head to Mansfield who haven’t won any of their last four games, including a 4-1 defeat last week.

And finally Newport have won their last two games by a 3-1 score-line, and head to Morecambe who’ve lost all three of their games under Derek Adams, who appears to be carrying on the dreadful form that got him sacked by Ross County.

  • West Brom, Stockport and Newport all to win & BTTS in each game at 107/1 with William Hill – CLAIM HERE

Ex-Strictly star Artem Chigvintsev accused of telling celeb partner ‘go home before I kill you’ – years before arrest

EX-STRICTLY star Artem Chigvintsev has been accused of threatening ‘to kill’ a former celebrity dance partner – years before his domestic violence arrest.

Yesterday, the Russian dancer, 42, was booked by cops in California after they were called to a “medical emergency” at a property.

He was taken in on domestic battery charges – after officers allegedly spotted suspected injuries at the scene – and released on £19,000 bail.

Following his arrest, reports have resurfaced surrounding claims made by his former Strictly partner Fern Britton.

The pair danced together on the BBC show in 2012 and finished in 10th place – Chigvintsev’s worst performance on the programme.

Fern previously told The Huffington Post: “He would look at my feet and just kick me or shove me.

“He was like, ‘Shut your face. Go home before I kill you’.

“I would say, ‘Oh please just kill me, it would be easier’. Or what was his other one? ‘If you go for a cup of tea now, I will blow off like an atomic bomb.’ I thought, well I won’t correct him on that one.”

She said that while there were moments they got on, he ultimately lacked charm.

Two years prior to dancing with Fern, Chigvintsev won Strictly with actress Kara Tointon, who he would go on to have a romantic relationship with.

He now competes on US programme Dancing With The Stars and has become a well-known celebrity in the States, thanks in part to his marriage to WWE superstar Nikki Bella.

Details about his arrest were not immediately disclosed and the victim has not been named.

It is not yet clear who made the call to the emergency services. TMZ reported that paramedics and the fire department were on their way to the property when the medical request was cancelled.

Chigvintsev first appeared on Dancing with the Stars during the 18th season.

He was the first dancer to win the competition on both sides of the Atlantic, scooping the top prize in the America version with reality star Kaitlyn Bristowe in 2020.

The Russian dancer joined Strictly during series eight in 2010 when he was partnered with ex-EastEnders actress Kara.

He made it to the semi-final of the show in 2011, with actress Holly Valance as his partner, before he teamed up with TV veteran Fern in the 2012 series.

He was last partnered with Coronation Street star Natalie Gumede in 2013, with the pair securing the runner-up spot.

SHOW SWITCH

Chigvintsev has appeared in 12 seasons of Dancing with the Stars in total.

He most recently starred last year when he was paired with The Bachelorette star Charity Lawson.

It was during the competition’s 25th season that he met his wife, Nicole Garcia – a former WWE superstar and Hall of Famer who performed under the name Nikki Bella.

Chigvintsev announced their engagement in a social media posting 2019, captioning a romantic picture of him and Garcia, “You are the best thing that has ever happened to me.

“So excited for what’s to come I love you more than anything and thank you for saying Yes.”

At the time, Garcia wrote, “Excited for 2020 and the next decade with you @theartemc. I said yes in France in November!

“We have been trying to keep it a secret but really wanted to share our excitement for the New Year!”

The pair tied the knot in a ceremony in Paris on August 26, 2022.

Garcia released a four-part TV special in January 2023 that followed the couple throughout their wedding planning process.

The couple welcomed their son, Matteo Artemovich Chigvintsev, in July 2020.

Garcia and Chigvintsev previously told People that they hesitated about bringing their son into the limelight.

How you can get help

Women's Aid has this advice for victims and their families:

  • Always keep your phone nearby.
  • Get in touch with charities for help, including the Women’s Aid live chat helpline and services such as SupportLine.
  • If you are in danger, call 999.
  • Familiarise yourself with the Silent Solution, reporting abuse without speaking down the phone, instead dialing “55”.
  • Always keep some money on you, including change for a pay phone or bus fare.
  • If you suspect your partner is about to attack you, try to go to a lower-risk area of the house – for example, where there is a way out and access to a telephone.
  • Avoid the kitchen and garage, where there are likely to be knives or other weapons. Avoid rooms where you might become trapped, such as the bathroom, or where you might be shut into a cupboard or other small space.

If you are a victim of domestic abuse, SupportLine is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 6pm to 8pm on 01708 765200. The charity’s email support service is open weekdays and weekends during the crisis – messageinfo@supportline.org.uk.

Women’s Aid provides a live chat service – available weekdays from 8am-6pm and weekends 10am-6pm.

You can also call the freephone 24-hour National Domestic Abuse Helpline on 0808 2000 247.

“We’ve always been very protective about – we don’t want Matteo to grow up on reality TV,” Garcia told the magazine last year.

The former WWE star told the magazine that she wants her son to decide in the future whether he wants to be on TV.

“Even though he’s in moments, we didn’t let him film a lot. Even in a series, we’re very protective of it,” she added.

“I definitely think there’s other parts of Artem and I that we could [explore].”

Captaincy options for Gameweek 3: Will any brave gaffers take on Erling Haaland?

THE captaincy debate is an open-and-shut case for many Dream Team managers ahead of Gameweek 3.

Erling Haaland (£8.5m) is the default selection and given the prolific poacher bagged a hat-trick against Ipswich last time out, there’s seemingly no need to deviate from the norm.

a poster for the sun dream team with a soccer player
Dream Team
Inevitable[/caption]

Manchester City travel to West Ham on Saturday with Haaland hoping to extend his record of three goals in two visits to the London Stadium.

However, it’s worth noting that the Norwegian striker did not top score in Gameweek 2 – that accolade went to Noni Madueke (£3m) after his hat-trick at Wolves.

Although selecting the Chelsea winger as captain would have required superhuman foresight.

The point is that it’s worth discussing the alternatives to Haaland, if only as a courtesy.

Cole Palmer (£6m)

a man in a blue jersey with the number 1 on it

Fancy a cold one?[/caption]

Madueke grabbed the spotlight at Molineux but Palmer was equally effective with a goal and three assists.

The Blues’ talisman pocketed 19 points by the final whistle and he has to be considered a decent captaincy option this weekend.

Enzo Maresca’s side are due to host Crystal Palace on Sunday with the Eagles still seeking their first point of the new campaign.

Chelsea remain somewhat unpredictable as their emphatic 6-2 win over Wolves was countered by a 2-1 defeat to Servette in the Conference League play-off second leg on Thursday night, though they won the tie 3-2 on aggregate.

But Palmer has been one of the most reliably brilliant Dream Team assets for almost a year now.

Mohamed Salah (£7.2m)

The much-discussed transition from Jurgen Klopp to Arne Slot hasn’t bucked the trend of Liverpool’s No11 flying out the blocks at the start of a new season.

Salah has notched two goals and an assist in his first two outings for a return of 26 points – only the aforementioned Haaland is above him in the rankings.

The Reds travel to Manchester United on Sunday for the first blockbuster match-up of the campaign and while their recent record in this fixture isn’t all that good, Salah has been the scourge of the Red Devils for years.

In fact, no visiting player has scored more Premier League goals at Old Trafford.

More broadly, the 32-year-old has contributed to 18 goals in his last 11 appearances against Man United.

Bryan Mbeumo (£3.8m)

a soccer player wearing a jersey that says hollywood bets
Reuters
An underrated gem[/caption]

Here’s a left-field suggestion for gaffers who love to play Dream Team their own way.

Brentford’s No19 is an underrated asset and it may surprise some to learn that he averaged a goal or assist every 130.7 minutes in the league last season.

He scored against Palace on the opening weekend and will be relishing the prospect of taking on Southampton in West London this Saturday having been limited at Anfield last time out.

Saints conceded a whopping 23 shots at home to Nottingham Forest in Gameweek 2.

Plus, Mbeumo should be the Bees’ first-choice penalty-taker with Ivan Toney expected to leave the club today.

Familiar names such as Bukayo Saka (£6.3m), Son Heung-min (£5m) and Ollie Watkins (£6m) deserve mentions too but, let’s be clear, Haaland is the most-popular choice for a reason.

They all began exhibiting classic symptoms of fever, diarrhoea, and joint pain shortly after returning from Cuba, where the disease is widespread.

Although all the victims have since recovered, three additional potential cases have now emerged, the Ministry of Health reports.

In July Europe reported its first cases of the bug in mainland Spain, Italy and Germany.

Last week, the US reported its first cases in Florida in people returning from Cuba and South America.

The disease is primarily spread by pinhead-sized midge and possibly mosquitos, but it originates in animals like sloths – which is why it has been given the nickname “sloth fever.”

There is so far no evidence to suggest the virus can spread between people.

The virus, which belongs to the same family as Zika and Dengue Fever, is currently incurable, with no available treatments.

To make matters worse, an expert has warned preventing the bug’s spread may be extremely challenging, as standard insect repellents could prove ineffective.

Beginning late last year, the virus was identified as the cause of large outbreaks in Amazon regions where it was known to exist, as well as in new areas in South America and Cuba.

About 8,000 locally acquired cases have been reported in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, and Peru.

Health chiefs at the US Centre for Disease Control (CDCD) have warned pregnant people to reconsider non-essential travel to Cuba.

It comes as new data suggests the virus could lead to miscarriage and/or birth defects in pregnant women.

“If travel is unavoidable, pregnant travellers should strictly follow Oropouche virus prevention recommendations to prevent insect bites during travel,” it said.

Travellers heading to countries where the virus is circulating have been warned by Prof Francois Balloux director of the University College London’s Genetics Institute to “take precautions”.

“Since, Oropouche is transmitted by mosquitos, the best way to protect oneself is to take precautions to reduce insect bites,” he previously told the Sun.

This includes wearing long-sleeved clothes, using mosquito nets and using insect repellent that contains DEET.

However, Dr Marine J Petit, a virologist from the University of Surrey cautioned that standard insect repellents and mosquito nets might not completely “do the trick”.

This is because the virus can also be spread by tiny midges, which can “slip through the nets and might not be bothered by the usual repellents,” she told the Sun.

“My advice will be to monitor symptoms, which may appear in a week following the bite by infected midges or mosquitoes,” she explained.

Symptoms of Oropouche fever are similar to dengue and include headache, fever, muscle aches, stiff joints, nausea, vomiting, chills, or sensitivity to light.

Severe cases may result in brain diseases such as meningitis, a brain swelling disease.

She also warned Brits travelling to affected countries to avoid cities where the virus has been spotted.

“It might be wise to avoid tropical forests or cities with current outbreaks,” she told the Sun.
