I swear by a ‘stupidly multipurpose’ beauty product – it improves fine lines, pores, strawberry legs, and even BO

A SKINCARE lover has found one-stop beauty shopping in a single bottle.

It wasn’t a bird or a plane – it was just one affordable and powerful product.

According to Redditor Jenniferjasonleigh, the buy helped with everything from smoothing skin to getting rid of smells.

“I don’t know if it’s a secret at this point but glycolic acid toners went viral for a reason,” she said.

She was in disbelief over how well it worked for so many different issues – and in record time.

“They are stupidly multipurpose,” she said.

“Facially, I see a drastic improvement in my sebaceous filaments and the appearance of my fine lines and pores after two to three regular uses,” she said.

It was also helping give her a leg up in other areas.

“All over, it helps with body odors and strawberry legs,” she said.

Just when she thought it had done enough, she realized it was also a glow-up game-changer.

“Another pleasant surprise, it works as an awesome primer for a darker, more even, longer-lasting sunless tan,” she said.

Her steps for a “nice, even sunless tan” include prepping by using a physical exfoliant along with glycolic acid, which made a “noticeable difference.”

She had learned the hard way that this was the best method of getting seamlessly sun-kissed.

“I made this delightful discovery when I applied sunless tanner after using glycolic acid toner on my face, neck, and underarms,” she said.

“Woke up in the morning to find my face and the area around my pits had developed darker than the rest of me,” she added.

For best results, she recommended doing a test patch while being careful to avoid over-exfoliating and skin irritation.

She had also heard that whatever sorcery was in the bottle was helpful for alleviating dry scalp and dermatitis, but she hadn’t tested it out yet herself on those areas.

Anti-aging tips

  • Keep your skin hydrated internally by drinking water and externally with moisturizer.
  • Always use sunscreen, even if you’re not in direct sunlight.
  • Use Vitamin C to brighten the skin and don’t forget to apply to your neck.

“How often do you use it? I’m afraid it can destroy my skin barrier,” a Redditor commented.

“It’s going to depend on what your skin needs. I started out a couple times a week, then increased to every other night,” she replied.

“I have pretty dry skin so I may increase to nightly depending on the time of year. Always following with moisturizer, of course, and an occlusive if necessary,” she added.

Her beauty routine involves applying the product “head to toe,” and about every seven to ten days when prepping for her sunless tanning.

If you want to try the buy for yourself, Ulta sells her favorite magical multipurpose bottle – The Ordinary’s Glycolic Acid 7% Toner, for $13.

Troy Deeney drops cryptic hint over Marc Guehi to Newcastle as Crystal Palace boss Glasner speaks out on transfer saga

TROY DEENEY has dropped a cryptic hint over the future of England star Marc Guehi on transfer deadline day.

Guehi, 24, has been the subject of a relentless transfer pursuit from Newcastle.

However, Crystal Palace have continued to hold firm on their position in demanding at least £70million for the centre-back.

But former Watford ace Deeney has suggested that a deal is not off the cards.

Speaking on talkSPORT on Thursday, Deeney claimed he had “a little bit of insight” into the deal.

The 36-year-old said: “I still think he’ll move.”

When questioned about whether the move would specifically be to Newcastle or another club in this window, Deeney repeated the line: “I still think he moves.

“I think he’ll move tomorrow. That’s what I’m hearing.”

Earlier this week it appeared a deal was edging closer.

Although reports today suggested the Eagles had upped their asking price to a whopping £75m.

Palace manager Oliver Glasner has also said Guehi will remain at Selhurst Park.

He told reporters on Friday: “Congratulations to our owners because they didn’t give up.

“He always told me that he’s not pushing to leave Crystal Palace.”

Speaking on the state of his squad ahead of deadline day, Toon boss Eddie Howe said: “There’s such a short time left, it is looking difficult.

“This window, as I’ve said many times, has been difficult and it continues to be difficult for us.

“We’re in a really difficult situation with the PSR situation and available funds, attracting the right players and the players that we think can make a difference. It’s such a delicate spot for us.

“We’ve got to try to hit it right and if we don’t, then probably doing nothing, as frustrating as that is, is probably the best option.”

In the case of Palace, they sold Joachim Andersen to Fulham for £30m but suffered a major blow with new signing Chadi Riad being sidelined with possible ligament damage.

China developing hypersonic passenger jet SIX TIMES faster than Concorde that could reach anywhere within 2 hours

CHINA is developing a hypersonic passenger jet capable of reaching speeds a whopping six times faster than the Concorde.

An impressive prototype for the “Nanqiang No 1” has shown the aircraft is set be able to reach anywhere in the world in less than two hours due to its daring speed.

The MUTTER engine design set to be in the new aircraft features a mixture of three different engines[/caption] an advertisement for the red bolt says that it can reach anywhere in the world within 2 hours

The planned project has undergone rigorous testing in a lab in Fujian Province with the hopes of achieving a hypersonic jet which can be used for tourists within the next decade.

Initial tests using the smaller prototype have proved successful with full-sized test flights already planned for 2025.

The unmanned aircraft is due to weigh just 500kg, according to reports in China.

It will also be able to travel at incredible speeds of up to Mach 6 when cruising – six times the speed of sound.

This pace will come from a mixture of turbofan, rocket and ramjet engines.

Initial images of the project appear to show two air-breathing ramjet engines, a small rocket, and two turbine engines all included in the “MUTTER” design.

MUTTER – which stands for multi-ducted twin-turbines ejector-ramjet – provides the jet was a state-of-the-art engine.

Computer modelling and early testing has shown the MUTTER engine is capable of reaching speeds over Mach 6 despite initial concerns over its validity.

Onboard 10 passengers will be able to travel.

Lead project scientist Yin Zeyong has described the plans as a “breakthrough” in technology and travel.

Lin, who is also the director of science and technology with the Aero Engine Corporation of China added: “It can change human civilization.”

According to the team, hypersonic flight technology such as the Nanqiang No 1 could reduce global travel time to under two hours.

They first started working on the jet in 2019 but are yet to make it go supersonic and reach speeds over Mach 1 (767mph).

An effective plan showing how they will slow down the jet when it reaches top speed or in an emergency is still yet to be revealed.

The Nanqiang No 1 is one of many ambitious plans tipped to rival Concorde, a legendary aircraft that was introduced 51 years ago and retired in 2003.

The historic aircraft had a maximum cruising speed of 2,179km per hour, or Mach 2.04 – twice the speed of sound.

Several other countries are working on their own speedy aircraft but many are looking into supersonic rather than hypersonic flight.

For a jet to travel at supersonic speeds it has to fly above the speed of sound which is Mach 1.

However, to break the hypersonic barrier it has to soar past Mach 5.

Currently just small, experimental vehicles have ever achieved such speeds with a huge issue being a sonic boom can be created at such speeds.

Nasa has been working on a jet dubbed the X-59, which is said to have a reduced sonic profile.

One of the closest to achieving supersonic status is Boom’s XB-1 Overture aircraft.

It underwent its second successful test flight this week with the first flight expected to take place in 2030.

Why did Concorde fail?

CONCORDE was the supersonic passenger jet considered the ultimate luxury in air travel.

Air France and British Airways announced they would be retiring their fleet of Concorde planes on April 10, 2003.

The plane had its first commercial flight on January 21, 1976, so was retired after 27 years of service and 50,000 flights.

Several reasons led to the decision to retire Concorde.

Air France and British Airways cited low passenger numbers and high maintenance costs.

By the early noughties, the planes were outdated and expensive to run, despite being incredibly advanced when they were first introduced almost three decades previously.

The 9/11 terrorist attack in 2001 majorly impacted passenger numbers, as people opted not to fly.

Passenger numbers also fell after an Air France Concorde crashed just minutes after taking off from Paris in July 2000.

The disaster killed all 109 people on board and four others on the ground.

The plane ran over a small piece of metal on the runway, which burst a tyre and caused an engine to ignite.

It was also the only aircraft in the British Airways fleet that required a flight engineer.
