The budget supermarket is set to launch a gorgeous Le Creuset casserole dish but is scanning for just £11.99 – which is £197 cheaper than the original.

Their middle aisle has huge discounts on cooking equipment including cast iron dishes which look just like the Le Creuset ones.

In store from 26 September, Lidl is selling the casserole dishes at a discount price until 2 October.

Ideal for cooking and serving meat joins and poultry, the cooking items are ideal for a crispy roast.

Just like the more expensive Le Creuset ones, the dishes are oven safe and have side handles for a secure grip.

Even better, the Lidl cooking dish even comes with a three year warranty.

And this isn’t the only dupe the budget supermarket is currently offering for a fraction of the price.

Lidl has introduced a new diffuser just in time for the cosy season, offering an affordable alternative to a popular TikTok product.

As the first arctic chill of autumn sweeps through the UK, many are preparing for a winter filled with movie nights, warm blankets, and hot drinks.

Lidl’s latest offering, the Silvercrest Ultrasonic Aromatherapy Diffuser, is the perfect addition to enhance your cosy season routine.

This diffuser is an excellent dupe for the viral Rituals Perfume Genie on TikTok, but at a fraction of the cost.

While the Rituals Perfume Genie, a favourite among beauty and wellness enthusiasts, retails at a steep £114.90 and has garnered 17.7 million views on social media, Lidl’s version is priced at an accessible £12.99. Even better, Lidl Plus app users can snag it for just £9.99.

For wellness aficionados looking to save money while indulging in relaxation, this budget-friendly diffuser is a must-have.

‘The weight just crept up’ – We became best pals at Slimming World & have lost over 12 stone after key realisations

TWO women gained a close friendship while shedding 12 and a half stone between them in just over a year.

Catherine O’Flaherty, 48, and Julie Jenkins, 52, from Bettystown, Co. Meath met at Slimming World meetings and saw their friendship grow while their weight shrank.

Julie has lost six and a half stone, dropping from a dress size 22 to a twelve from 17 stone, nine pounds.

And Catherine is now sporting a svelte size ten after losing six stone, from 16 stone last August.

Julie, whose journey started when she was asked into photographs for her granddaughter’s First Holy Communion, said: “Everyone chats at the group but Catherine and I started sitting beside each other and hanging back in the cold carpark for chats.

“We became really good friends.

“The weight just crept up on me in the last few years. I stopped going out because I couldn’t get clothes to fit me and I didn’t like what I saw.

“It was my granddaughter’s Communion in June 2023 and my daughter wanted me in pictures. I started putting my granddaughter in front of me and hiding behind her in the snaps.”

Julie told how she said to herself that things “have to change”, especially as her daughter was getting married in Malta the following September.

She said: “I joined Slimming World and lost five pounds in the first week.

“In my head, I wanted to lose two stone by the wedding and I did so I told myself that I was going to lose another two stone by Christmas and I did. And since then, I’ve lost another two and a half stone.

“I’ve so much more energy now and I can climb stairs and tie my shoelaces. I used to be a wallflower and my self-confidence has grown so much.

“I got into this Friday night sofa party rut where I’d have a bottle of wine, packs of Doritos and boxes of maltesers and before I knew it, I could blend into the couch.

“I’ve just changed things around. I still have a drink but it is a Captain Morgan and a Diet Coke. It is all about being mindful of what you’re eating and making better choices.

“You can still have what you want but in different ways.”

‘I WAS THE HEAVIEST I HAD EVER BEEN’

Friend Catherine had been to Slimming World before but put the weight back on and only realised just how much weight when she went to pack for holidays.

She said: “I took down my holiday clothes a few weeks in advance and I felt like they were all for a Barbie Doll. It’s not that they didn’t just fit, but they wouldn’t even go up on me.

“I was genuinely shocked. I was the heaviest I had ever been so I had a little cry, pulled up my very big girls pants and decided to go for it.

“I’ve lost six stone and I’m determined to keep it off.  It’s not a diet this time, I’ve realised it is a lifestyle.

“I always kept a few of the bigger sized clothes, just in case I needed them again but this time, I had a big clear out and filled eight bags of clothes that I won’t need again.

“I’m prepared now. If you have a long day and you come home starving, you’ll eat what’s there.  So now when I cook, I put any leftovers in the freezer so I’m always prepared.

“I never thought when I walked through the door at Slimming World last year that I would shed so much weight and gain friendships, not only with Julie but with others there too.”

OAP neighbours aged 82 & 66 locked in furious row over gate on their shared driveway – ending up in a FIST FIGHT

OAP neighbours are locked in a furious row over a gate on their shared driveway which has ended up in a fist fight.

Raymond Kynaston, 82, of Leebotwood, Shropshire, shares a drive with his long-term neighbour Glyn Prosser, 66.

Former farm shop owner Kynaston sells eggs, pickled onions and hanging baskets on his farmyard, which he has owned for 52 years.

Mr Prosser moved into a three-bed cottage six years ago next door and a “feud” over the metal gate ensued.

The saga has included it being thrown into a brook running alongside both properties.

But the gate row culminated in a punch up between the two pensioners.

And now Kynaston has been ordered to pay compensation after flooring Mr Prosser, who suffered a lump to his head.

Telford Magistrates Court was told that Mr Prosser used to be able to keep the gate open so he could drive his car out by hooking it to Kynaston’s fence.

But he wasn’t able to do that on April 24 as he attempted to leave with wife Barbara for a celebratory birthday meal.

Mr Prosser told MailOnline: “Ray had blocked our driveway (with the gate) when we went to drive out so I got out of the car and started moving the gate.

“Then he attacked me. He grabbed me from behind and punched me to the ground.”

His wife passed away three months later and now Mr Prosser has put his cottage up for sale.

What are your rights in this situation?

BOUNDARY disputes are legally private issues and so have to be resolved between the parties involved.

In most cases, local councils are not involved unless there are special circumstances or a planning element to the dispute.

Early resolutions can often be agreed through offers of settlement or professional mediation.

However, if a settlement can’t be agreed by the parties, then disputes can be taken to court to be ruled on.

This is often an expensive and time-consuming process as the court has to determine the legal boundary lines between properties.

If you are involved in a boundary dispute which you cannot resolve, your best option is to consult a solicitor for advice on your particular case.

Kynaston, who lost wife Susan in 2019, admitted that he pushed Mr Prosser to the ground.

He said: “[Mr Prosser] always made out that I’m the villain in all this but he’s the one who yelled abuse.”

Magistrates fined Kynaston £230 and ordered him to pay Mr Prosser £150 in compensation and £85 prosecution costs.

I quit my cleaning job & bought an old tool shed to transform into a tiny home – I decked it out with charity shop buys

A WOMAN has revealed that she bought an old tool shed, and transformed it into her dream tiny home.

Jessica has decked her tiny house out with buys from the charity shop, and even uses an old flower pot as a makeshift sink.

She said that she has wanted to build a tiny home for years and loves that she can take her micro house with her if she wants to travel around the country.

The mum of one quit her job as a cleaner in 2021 after her daughter left home and decided that now was the perfect time to make her dream a reality.

Jessica said that she found the transition from her two-story 1800 square-foot home to 70-square-foot surprisingly easy.

“I always hated having so much room in a house that I never used”, she told the Tiny Home Tours YouTube channel.

“There’s only so much space you use in a house and that’s basically your bed and maybe your couch”, she said.

“My daughter has flown the coop so it was just me in this big old house so I said it’s time for me to fulfil my dreams.”

Jessica said she is never really inside the house except when she is cooking or sleeping, so isn’t fazed by the lack of space.

The tiny house is completely off-grid, and appliances such as her fridge are powered by a solar panel that Jessica attached to the roof of the shed.

To prevent her home from feeling cramped and claustrophobic, Jessica’s shed has large windows on both sides.

“These big picturesque windows are what sold me on the tool shed when I purchased it”, she said.

“I thought this would make a great tiny house, and what amazing views you could have in it.”

To make the most out of her space, Jessica has a sofa, which she can chill on in the daytime, and which transforms into a queen size bed, which takes up almost all of the shed’s space, at night.

She also has a compost toilet, a fire pit and even a secret garden.

In the garden, she has grown, beans tomatoes and carrots, helping her to become self-sufficient.

Jessica’s tiny home even has an outdoor shower, so she can stargaze whilst having a wash.

She added that she always feels safe in her shed, as it even has its own surveillance system, which sends alerts directly to her home.

“Right now I’m just living my best life”, she said.

“I’m not doing much of anything right now besides working on this tiny house and getting int finished.”

Jessica revealed that when she has finished working on her tiny home, she will turn it into an AirBnb and go and live in a bus she has converted.

Fans have reacted enthusiastically to the news, with one exclaiming: “Yes!! Love this show.”

Another added: “Great news, brilliant show.”

A third described it as the drama with the “best ensemble British cast” on telly at the moment.

The show features a stellar lineup of actors, including David Morrissey, Lesley Manville, and Lorraine Ashbourne.

While the plot of series three has not been revealed yet, it is expected that James Graham will once again draw on the history of the Nottinghamshire mining village he grew up in for his storylines.

The first two seasons explored “the lives and legacy of those governed by Britain’s industrial past”.

They tackled difficult social issues such as division among local communities over miners’ strikes and gang warfare.

Show creator James shared his excitement about Sherwood’s new installment being greenlit, saying: “It continues to be the greatest privilege to tell stories set in and inspired by the history of my home county of Nottinghamshire.

“Having a returning series on the BBC is pretty much every British writer’s dream, and I’m incredibly grateful for the continued passion that Lindsay, Charlotte and Jo have for Sherwood – and to everyone at House Productions, the most supportive producers you can have.

“My biggest appreciation though goes to our audiences and I’m determined to deliver for them in a series three, which will be a new set of stories, and the continuation – and completion – of some strands I’ve been dreaming of for some time.”

Lindsay Salt, Director of BBC Drama, added: “Sherwood has quickly established itself as one of the all-time great television dramas, with its impeccable mix of characters, story and themes that have gripped and resonated with millions of viewers across the UK.

“We’re so pleased to be working with James Graham and the team to bring his exciting plans for Sherwood’s third chapter to the BBC.”
